I got PAID to drive Camaro LT1

Yep! I got paid $120 for driving $43k Camaro LT1 for 15 months and 8000 miles. Called up few Chevy dealers around and one was able get me $6120 check back in equity. Jeep Rubicon 4xE here I come!

Don’t forget to report those $120 as capital gains on your tax return

Is this the record so far for LT1 drivers?

Not sure if it’s a record or not but this forum is the best with how much knowledge it provided me about car leases.

I don’t think anyone has kept an lt1 for 15 months so it must be a record

@Artem you’re gonna get beat here if he doesn’t make more than $120 than you!

In january i got an offer from driveway for 44k on my 43.9k msrp, was also 6k over buyout but I like the LT1 too much lmao. I’m only 24 so I have time to drive grandpa cars like the 4xe for the rest of my life

For a second there I thought you said “for 5 Min.” :flushed:

Oookay I need my coffee

Think it’s time to let my lt1 go. Going to shop offers this weekend had since 1/21 been a blast to have.

How much did you sell it for? Just got offer from driveway over sticker price

If I can break even I might try doing this myself… have. 2015 Lexus IS350 that just keeps getting older…

I don’t think GM Financial allows lease purchases outside of Chevrolet/GM network dealers.
