I’m in no hurry but wanted to check if Quarter end is a good time to close it out.

Looks like no one is buying a Palisade  no comments?? Or thoughts?

Should be enough comps in Marketplace on this model to determine if the dealer discount is compelling.

But is that all dealer discount, or are there incentives in there also?

As for the OTD price there’s nothing you can do about taxes, registration / govt fees, doc fee, etc.

The total will be the total.

Just make sure to review every line item to make sure they aren’t including worthless accessories and/or protection packages..

Unfortunately cannot find comps at all in my market. We’ll see what April brings.

If no data points in your exact market, use broker deals as a proxy and build your target deal. Email your offer to at least a handful of dealers.

I used primarily Northeast (and some CA) comps to model a deal for the LYRIQ I just leased in Ohio.

You’re looking for what constitutes a strong prevailing dealer discount. Look for a pattern, and then try to figure out roughly the max that the market will bear.

Also you didn’t comment on whether the delta between MSRP and selling price was all discount or part discount and part incentives. That’s an important distinction.

There was only a 1K incentive - the rest was discount. I was asking under invoice.

Ending up at 7.1,% off MSRP without incentives. Wait or buy? KMF finance rate 3.99%

Ended up 8.1 % under MSRP , $4k and closed it, OTD of $50K
