The XC90 really is the best reason not to lease a palisade. I’d be driving one instead of my palisade if there was more shoulder room in them. The 3 row spacing on the spa architecture pushes the b pillar forward, limiting shoulder width for those of us with broader shoulders.
Maybe you should actually drive a Palisade and see what’s behind the H
Definitely not a good deal for a Palisade but OP is not getting a comparably equipped GLE for just dollars more, let alone a 2020 GLS which is the actual equivalent proper 3-row SUV from Mercedes Benz.

X5 and xc90 are most comparable in dimensions to Palluride (length, width and wheelbase), the x7 and GLS are significantly bigger. It’s foolish that you didn’t verify this.
Vast majority of Palluride lessees don’t realize an x5 or xc90 can be had for similar dollars, probably because luxury dealers begin with abysmal quotes (like this Palisade offer) Vast majority of them would pick the euro brands given a choice.

3rd row space in the palisade is much more comparable to the gls/x7, even if the outside dimensions are closer to the XC90/x5.
