I’ve had over 20 MB, 3 Porsche and 8 BMW in the last 20 years (And our adopted Audi recently). I know German brands like the back of my hands. Their safety features alone out weigh most of the highest trim levels of Korean or Japanese brands. The X5 is a very popular 3 row… if it wasn’t why else would MB reintroduce a 3-row in the mid-sized SUV market. The X7 and GLS are BIGGER then the Hyundai. Period. And yes, compared to that deal, a loaner GLE with 3rd row wouldn’t be much more as well as a BMW X5 Loaner. We can do this all day long.
Yep. 100%.
Sure, but if you need true 3 row space for carrying larger passengers, the x5 and gle don’t offer the same accomodations. One must go up to a gls/x7 to get more space.
A more appropriate statement may be that the palisade, at least space wise, fits in-between the x5/gle and the x7/gls.
But what do I know, I’ve only had an x5 and palisade sitting in my driveway all week.
Agree. I’ve had 2 X5. I agree with your statement.
Ultimately, that means that if the 3rd row space is one of your key requirements, the gls/x7 is the only competing product from those brands.
I do need the 3rd Row. Will the Volvo XC90 work?
The 3rd row in the XC90 isn’t huge. Do you need a 3 row to carry around 7 adults or do you need a 3 row because you occasionally have a kid back there, etc
Probable adults. 2 kids in car seats and two teenagers.
If the two teenagers are hanging out in the 3rd row together for long periods of time, you may find it too small.
Thanks- that’s good to know. I’ll just keep my eye out for a GLS or X7 as well.
It’s still worth going and looking at. Depending on the size of your teenagers, your mileage may vary.
If I was driving it I suppose I would be behind the H

Why do the monthly payments on the Palisades keep coming out so high?
The sale price on that is full MSRP with $400 in dealer add on mark up. I keep seeing more and more SELs going for 7-8% off pre-incentive these days. That’s about $4000 extra rolled in. The incentives are also a bit lower right now (they pulled conquest).
I don’t wanna be that guy, but there’s no such thing as a “Palluride”

I see what you were doing there. Yeah, neither are currently worth leasing
