Got my two 23 orders at separate dealers (Gupton and Farrish) built and projected to arrive the same day 9/18 (which I know will change).
Do I need to finesse any timing on when to do the paperwork so I don’t trip any wires at CCAP for two leases within days of each other at different dealers? Or would it be okay to do both at the same time?
Gupton is a Sahara with a deposit and the Farrish with no deposit is a stripper Rubi with cold weather. In theory I’d be okay walking from either if they got fouled up but wondering if there’s anything to be mindful of. Thanks!
Well if you really want HA then roll the dice and hope to get HA before 2023. Maybe they sort out the build delays for HA by now. And no one know for sure that 7500 rebate will go away in 23. Or finance the jeep and get the credit in tax return for 23.
I signed a lease with Gupton one day and then Chapman the next back in May. Only one credit hit from CCAP. One Sahara and one Rubi. As long as your income is good, you should be good.
Mine is a pretty loaded build Leather, SOT, Advanced Safety, Cold Weather. Hopefully yours updates today/tomorrow. I have been checking a few times a day. My estimated delivery date also changed from 9/25 to 9/15… Fingers crossed that date stays…
I know of two Sahara’s in “shipped” status. (both as of 8/22). In different colors. Took 2 days to go from KZ - Shipped. Anyone’s guess with Jeep though, could be 2 days or 2 months
Personally I don’t think the spring '23 offers will be all that great - especially if any of the tax credit goes away. In which case overall demand would drop and Jeep could supply dealers much easier than now. Not to mention if the economy keeps sagging and interest rates keep rising.
So my 23 Rubi has been shipped. Still debating whether to grab it or cancel. I have two right now that I’m keeping for the term of the lease. Might just grab this for a last hoorah. Payment is $200 more than my higher priced 22’s
These offers seem to be all over the place depending on region/vehicle specs/luck.
I sold a $68K Rubi 2022 last week for $59,000 and had to work pretty hard to get that. All expenses back and made a few bucks so still happy but thought I’d get at least $62-63 for it.
Sold a $63K HA 2022 today for $58,200 and didn’t work that hard at all. One hour at CarMax for appraisal, used that offer to negotiate others higher via email and sold to Autonation. I thought Colorado was the epicenter for Jeep enthusiasts but I gave up trying to sell to local dealers as they either way low balled or flat out refused to make an offer. I’ve read others here saying they scored highest offers from local dealers.
FWIW, Autonation told me good thing I’m selling now because “winter book” (don’t know what that is) comes out 9/1 and prices likely to be lower. Edit - reread text and Autonation said good thing to close deal in August before “books take the winter drop” so perhaps just referring to end of Summer and prices generally dropping, especially for Wrangler.
