it seems to me that it all depends who the guy or gal running your numbers not some computer program thats why they all over the place from same online buyer.

Wrong. They use a computer algorithm for all their offers. The appraiser have the option to lower that number due to the car’s condition or accident history.

But does the algorithm account for location? and who does the manual appraisals

These Flippers are like brand new, what condition or history they trying to play with. There numbers are all over the place 1k-8k difference.
I think the location must have a say what they want and how badly they want .

Carvana’s latest offer on my '21 Sting Sahara with ~7k miles. Safety, advanced safety, cold weather. Chicago area. The last time I checked June 6th, offer was $51,319. Not super interested in selling right now, so I haven’t gotten any other offers.

I’d imagine location plays a part in the offer as well what current inventory is within a defined area. How many days does the current inventory have on it, how many price cuts, etc…to get it sold. As winter approaches in the Northern half the country I am sure a geographic component will go into the offers then. With the theory that demand will be higher April - September than October - March.

Sadly they don’t want to make an offer on my TRX until its shown as registered in their national database despite showing registration card as proof

In process of selling my 2021 Sahara to Driveway…….best price by far here in FL….process not so much

Picking mine up on Tuesday at Gupton. Did you have any contact with finance regarding lease terms prior to arriving or was it all done while you were there? Thanks.

Rubicon , there picking up tomorrow

This lines up pretty well with my numbers on a 22 Sahara , soft top, $58k MSRP. Carvana is the high number at 55. AutoNation couldn’t get their act together and I still need to take it to the local CarMax ( probably won’t since they have a 4xe in stock).

To your surprise no one at the location have any say in the offer not even the managers. The sales person you meet at the store only take pictures and send it to our buying team, the buying team is not physically at the store. If I’m not wrong, there is like one buying team for 10 stores. They don’t do much, their job is to take money off online offer if car has any imperfections

Yes, location heavily impact the offer.

Takes about 5-10 days for them to contact you … they have hundreds on the lot to go through. If you don’t hear anything in a week just shoot them an email. They will offer to help with shipping thru Runbuggy but I found their quotes to be higher than the guy @Clutch referred me to. Good luck!
