HOW TO GET A GOOD WRANGLER 4XE Deal; Buckle up for a LONG read! (Part 2)

Looks familiar

I installed what was probably the old version of that meter on my basic JADaniell EVSE a number of years ago.

Still a very long wait, we had multiple builds with that configuration mid-November and they arrived at the dealership end of Decemberā€¦

I thought construction of 2022 didnā€™t even start until the end of December? But anyway, I was in no hurry so it didnā€™t really matter to me. Just added that info for reference.

Something to mention about my wifeā€™s 22 HA.

11/24 order date.
Informed on 12/22 that it had ā€œestimated shipping date of 1/24ā€.
Received email on 01/20 that it was at the dealership. Didnā€™t expect it to be ahead of time. Especially since I thought the ā€œestimated shipping dateā€ was actually the build date.

Nothing pulling on Crypto yet but I manually checked my build sheet and it populated! I was in paint yesterday. I just checked with Jeep Chat and they said that the vehicle has been built but is pending additional equipment. Is that like the advanced safety/cold weather groups or could it be the headliner?

I thought this was interesting too, it lists on the build sheet my regression from D1 to D and also lists ā€œSpecial Scheduling Condition VIIā€ I wonder what that is?

How did you manually check it?

I had saved the link in my favorites with my VIN and kept checking it the past few days, @mllcb42 has a great explanation on how to do it:

I completely understand and I am sincerely happy that you were not in any hurry.

My point is more about users putting up reference points for delivery times. Putting up reference points for 1 or 2 orders results in skewed expectations for others.

We have seen almost exact configurations being ordered 1-2 days apart but arriving 2-3 weeks apart.

As an example,

Sahara 4xE
Leather, Sky One-Touch, Advanced Safety Group, Safety Group, and CWG
Ordered - 11/19/21
2022 Production began in December
Arrived at dealership - 1/16/22

8 more orders with near configuration that very same week and only 3 have arrived.

Invoice doesnā€™t show any credit so looks like mine was invoiced before price hike, its possible they are invoiced when build sheet is available?

Estimated shipping date is when it is released from the plant. Those dates are not very accurate. There have been cases where the car is in transport despite showing an estimated shipping date at a later date.

Dealer processing. In MD, dealers can charge up to $500 by law. Most are around $300-$400.

MD is $500. VA is $899.

Why would I care whether you are happy for me or not? I was sharing real-world data for the benefit of the community. People are free to take it for what it is worth.

Any else having issues with the jeep link (build sheet link)? for some reason it crashes the jeep window and my leasebacks window every time I click on it in Safari. :man_shrugging:

Did you edit the link with your vin?

Have you tried turning it off and turning it back on again? :upside_down_face:

Yes PM and I will get it.

That would be the doc fee in our calc links.

Is the bank fee waived this month for Jeep for northeast or tier bum? Thank you

Was at our dealer and we had the lot full of 4xEs.

Noticed the new rims on a few cars and snapped them for the forum.
