For every SUV driver who thinks a pickup as a daily is a waste, there is a sedan driver thinking the same about SUVs. Just sayin.
Awesome, thanks for the feedback. I am interested in monitoring the circuit, can you share how you do?
I am one of those sedan guys.
You donât need an SUV âcAuSE iT hAS aWDâ or âiTs mUcH sAFeR tHaN a cArâ
But donât/wonât you have a Wrangler?

I do, and am also shopping a Frontier.
I def donât âneedâ a SUV, but when you can drive one for the same payment as a Corolla, it makes sense, I suppose.
Iâve been driving my wifeâs beat up '07 Honda odyssey for over a year now - a new Wrangler has been quite a welcome change - going from the weird soccer dad to the cool dad when picking up my kids lol
So I ordered with Gupton on 1/7 and allegedly price protected. At the time, MSRP of $60,710 and a price lock of $54,528 (includes Affiliate). When the Jeep comes in, Iâm assuming the sticker will reflect the recently raised MSRP, which for my build comes out to $62,275 ($1565 increase). When calculating my monthly payment, would it be calculated based on the new higher MSRP or the old one? If new, then my monthly payment should be lower since I have an instant $1565 in equity due to the 1/17 price increase.
Someone correct me if Iâm wrong.
It appears that the RV is based on the price protected MSRP, not the new MSRP.
Howâs the Frontier shopping going? I saw that thread on the homepage.
Dealing with Nissan sales managers is painful, put it that way.
CDJR isnât much better outside of the handful of known dealers in this thread.
But I agree, Nissan may take the cake. Theyâre all terrible and more upset that I have the program guide (as a non Nissan employee) than helpful in working out a deal.
it comes with level1 charger, with it it should take 5-6 hours to charge i guess. keep in mind you are paying full rate for electricity units used to charge using level1.
in case of level2 , some utility companies offer rebates(specially at night hours) for charging provided you are using charger authorized by them and connected to internet. also they give rebate on charger too.
for example i am in long island and PSEG reimburse for upto 500$ on level2 charger ( specific models)
so effective cost on those chargers comes out to be 100$-200$ out of pocket. Also electricity unit charges drop to 6 cents per unit instead 15-16 if charging is scheduled between 11-6AM( i think)
my problem with level2 is that it needs 200amp service and my house is older built so it has 100amp service, cost of upgrading it to 200amp is 4000$, thinking if i should go ahead and get it done once for all or still hold it. ( i have a 4xe order)
No, more like 12+ for a full charge. Level 1 charger is going to do around 1.3kW. For a 17 kWh battery, it takes awhile.
I donât know if anyone had a full charge in 5-6 hours, the few times I used mine it showed close to 16 hours from 0%. Level 2 takes a little over 2 hours from 0%. Level 1 is probably just a marketing scheme, here we will give you this ridiculous thing that takes forever, but we do however sell a level 2. Sure most wonât buy their level 2, but there is probably a decent % who do.
possible, my knowledge is coming from tiny Smart Fortwo ED model( which i sold to vroom) so numbers can be lot different. smart used to charge in 14-16 hours from 20 to 100%
For a lot of people, especially on a phev, level 1 is just fine. Plug it in when you get home from work and you have a full charge the next morning. If youâre going to be coming and going a lot, however, itâs not the most effective solution.
And with the electrical cost involved to add the line in, can make it quite expensive. I do a lot of local driving so for me the level 2 was a no brainer, I like to put on the 20-25 miles in all electric several times a day, well not in the winter I guess, due to constant FORM.
getting a 14-50 outlet installed is not that expensive(provided you have atleast 200amp service already)
but depends on how far is it from your main panel. but if you have option for it and can get level2 thats worth the cost.
This may be a stupid question, but is there a way to add a second 4xe to the UConnect app? We are picking up a second this weekend and I havenât dropped off the first at Carmax yet.
