HOW TO GET A GOOD WRANGLER 4XE Deal; Buckle up for a LONG read! (Part 1)

,

Good call out! I guess the numbers overall line up?
With registration my total cost is $15,300 for a $59,750 MSRP. 65% residual and .172 MF

In your case, they’re not in the gross cap but instead handled by the upfronts.

The numbers make sense then. Is there a benefit to paying upfront vs adjusting gross cap cost? His costs are residualized so and costs less up front, but then I guess his residual would go up too?

Either way, the taxes seem to be payed up front and there’s no getting that back in the one pay. I guess now we’re just discussing the difference between paying up front vs adding it to the gross cap cost?

Don’t know that it really makes a difference how they book keep it. Obviously in either case, you’re actually paying it with the one pay.

What’s a 4xe?

So it looks like to me your payment to Chrysler was 12851 including tax. Your amount deducted on your unpaid monthly’s is 11008 for a difference of 1843. Subtract the two payments ~710 (~650 + taxes) and you’re at around 1133, which does seem to be basically the exact amount of sales tax remaining (subtracted the $60 I added in to your monthly transactions)… which leads me to believe that you might be right? not sure…

What color on the second jeep? That gloss is crazy.

What’s this months Sahara 4xE residual? Is acq fee waived for NJ? Thanks

My lease programs isn’t working

57% for a 36/15.

Mid Atlantic has a waiver for 48 months only.
North East may be 48 only. It doesn’t break down for 4xe vs non 4xe. The mf is too high on 48 months to matter though on the 4xe.

Honestly mine doesn’t even make any sense on the Chrysler account website. It shows this which is my total one pay if adding the two line items.

So either mine is wrong or yours is wrong haha. It could just be the way that the dealership wrote it up though… I don’t really know.

I think it’s what they mentioned earlier. They included your cost in the mark up on the cap cost and in my case, they just paid it up front out of the one-pay amount. Yours results in a a higher residual even though the amount that counts towards your buyout is higher. Should all work out the same at the end of the day.

Neither would change the residual, as that’s based off msrp, and it shouldn’t make an appreciable change to the buyout.

You are right

How was ride quality Rubicon vs Sahara. I find my Sahara to be very compliant and reasonable for a daily driver.

For me it was between Falkens, Toyos, or Generals. I went with 275/60r20 Falken Wildpeak A/T3W. I think 33" is a good size for a lease and not having to worry about any suspension/rubbing issues. Paid about $1300 for the tires and install at Discount Tire (after a $110 flash sale and 10% military discount). They’ll be on next Tuesday.

I found both to be fine with the Sahara more car-like and the Rubicon more truck-like. That’s the best way I can describe it. Both felt very planted, but the Sahara would get the nod for comfort. The Rubicon is perhaps a bit more stiff, but nothing like a sports car or anything.

Is that for 4 or 5?
