I wouldn’t risk it personally, but I have come to terms with the fact the circumstances of others (risk tolerance, ability to make other income, etc) are not my circumstances. Bargain hunters are often nudging the ethical lines, but those that risk are sometimes rewarded…that’s how that game is played.

Realistically if you place an order for a 4xe high altitude today how long will the wait be?
I ordered my High Altitude on 7/5 and it’s at the dealer today. That said there is really no set time you can expect to have your car in. Some people who ordered in June are still waiting for HA.

I ordered an HA on 8/19 and no movement on it yet for a data point
I’ve been ogling over the retro graphics for the gladiator. Praying to god the 4XE version comes out soon, it’s the only case where I’d consider getting a Jeep in white or black.
Actively trying to find retro decals for the pink Wrangler. I like that 80’s neon pink and blue look.

My understanding is it’s like paint…it’s all in the prep. Slow drying gel allows for perfect positioning before squeegee.

Picked up the car from Gupton and earlier today went to Florida DMV to register. They said I don’t have to pay sales tax since this is a lease. Is that correct?

It should be rolled into your monthly lease payment, so you don’t pay it upfront when you register it at the DMV.
Agreed, Florida taxes the monthly payment and it should be included in your lease payment. When you get your first statement from CCAP it should be listed as a separate line item.
Update On HA 6/21 Order
0 progress on my 6/21 High Altitude order until a week ago. It went from being in “Part Collected” for 2 weeks to being built and in the rail yard in about a day or two. I contacted the dealer and it seems it’ll be a 9/15-9/23 delivery window to Las Vegas from Toledo, OH.
3 months was a lot longer than I expected, but I’m just glad it’s finally ready. Definitely seems like HA models were held up for a while, but I also had a million options selected.
Also, @Clutch has been absolutely great to work with and has answered all my questions quickly throughout this process. Would 10/10 recommend ordering with them if you’re on the west coast or the south.
Did you have the white/light grey leather option?
