anyone here did the deal in august from gupton ? I understand msrp is up and residual is also at 64% ? but after seeing all the pics, I feel like getting one lol and trying to see if numbers are still somewhat decent for august.

I did an august gupton possibly 2 if he confirms

Everyone who received their custom orders, did you get the message with your name on the top right of the window sticker? I had heard about it (probably somewhere in this thread) but didn’t see mine until tonight. Pretty cool.

Hi all,
I finally got my 4xe after a long wait.

Test drove one of the Jeeps at local dealer on April 28th, I built by Jeep on May 7th and sent it to Gupton (note on May 1st the price increased by 2k). Then needed to go in Europe - and finally put the deposit on May 24th when I returned (I wasn’t sure at first if i should pull the trigger).
Sahara
Original MSRP - 56,305 - without acquisition fee
Price received with affiliate and using dealership financing - 50,185 (before the 7500 rebate)

Car was finally shipped to dealership on July 30th. (long wait)
Signed the papers sometimes in early August 10th
Was looking to find a shipping companies - and the cheapest was like $1050 and was going to have it picked up 8/16 and deliver to Boston by 8/18.
Instead, after talking to the wife, we thought it may be a good idea to go an pick it up with my two sons - which we did (16yr and 12yr old). I know it was going to cost me more but bonding with your kids is priceless. I basically blew out my budget on first day (flight tix, hotel, uber etc). I went down on Saturday morning - picked up the car around 11:30ish. Met Daniel (who is such a nice guy) - few more papers to sign and i was out of there. Decided to stay in downtown Nashville (fun place but can’t go in any of the bars). We had a nice steak dinner at Oak steakhouse.
Sunday we drove for about 4-5 hours to Johnson City TN - Stopped in Knoxville for lunch (nice town).
Next day we drove to DC - spent two nights there and got to see most of the big ticket items like capitol hill, ww2, Lincoln memorial etc. This was nice to see. We do live in a great country!
Wed - i was planning to stop in NYC - and maybe go watch the yankees against red sox - but i started to get tired of yet another check-in/park, check-out routine. So i decided to drive straight up from DC to Boston.
Overall i spent much more than to have it shipped - but bonding with your kids is priceless (especially teenage kids who don’t like to spend much time with parents and rather than play video games).
My monthly lease with everything is like $410 including mass tax. For some reason I opted for 39m - to get the acq. fee waived. It was going to be the same price. I just didn’t want to have Daniel redo the paperwork.

Now i need to work on offloading my 2018 Rav4 Hybrid and/or 2019 Volvo XC90
Good luck to you all with your jeeps and to the ones who are waiting for them.
Some pic below.

Fantastic report, and the best color combo too! As you said, the time spent and memories gained are priceless. Good choice.

Quick update: 6/14 order from Gupton still stuck in D. Got into D1 a while back and had two build dates in late July/Early August and then it went back to D. Asked Daniel to escalate and he said he’ll keep me posted.

No word yet, but it’s been a long wait. Kinda sucks and took the fun out of this entire process.

Did anyone purchase Jeep? Looks like I can expense fully under section 179 for business expenses.

Theyre over 6000 gvw so you can do 179. Only makes sense if you plan to hold the vehicle long term, though.
