How Did I Do On This 2018 Touring Accord Hybrid?

YES! I even explained to him why financing is cheaper than leasing in his case, even if he only intends to keep the vehicle for 3 years.

Hopefully someone is reading this thread and learning something.

Well I’m sure they marked up the MF to do this, and we also don’t know his credit score, etc.

Anyone put this in the calculator for sh!ts and giggles?

Should have had them throw in a Civic.

Last month they would have thrown in an Encore or Terrain too.

And an s90 with without using all the down payment.

This is the best part of it. You would think someone would learn their lesson with something like this, but nope. Someone has to get these awful deals so we can get great ones, so he took one for the team! Given that you tried to talk him out of it and he keeps insisting on others spoonfeeding him what the payment should be, I hope he is stuck with it. Some nice karma

The thing that sucks is that you know that the dealer is going to spin some yarn about not being able to roll back the deal, probably offer “free” maintenence and/or car washes or something to smooth it over, and he’s gonna go for it if he’s already come this far without listening to anyone.

I just read his latest post on the accord forum. If someone here is registered maybe they could explain that 9000 divided by 39 is 230 dollars a month? If he’s so hung up on spending 250 a month and really wants it that badly with 9000 in his pocket to put towards it, then 480 a month with zero down (Horrible, but the heart wants what it wants) IS EXACTLY THE SAME AS 250 A MONTH WITH 9000 DOWN FOR 39 MONTHS!

Meanwhile at the dealership…

Anyone want to register on DriveAccord and try?? He says he can’t post anymore on here, and clearly I can’t get through to him because he’s still asking the same dumbass questions about putting 9 billion dollars down on a vehicle at MSRP.

Can someone in the driveaccord forum ask why he so insist the $250 payment? Maybe some trust fund or money allowance quota for him, but one time acquisition amount is unlimit in his case?

Chris you get some good Karma points for your efforts, for your own mental health just leave this dude alone. You did more than enough lol.

39mo/12K on '18 Accord Hybrid Touring residual 53%, mf .00230 msrp $35600

This blew every other post in the worst lease ever thread out of the water.

In this case, the selling price at exactly MSRP. $350 is before tax. That MF is brutal. If his payment is $350 including tax, he got whopping $800 off from MSRP.

In order for him to get $250 payment, he needs to down $11.5K. More than 2/3 of my QX60 entire lease cost including tax.

"Chris,

I don’t HAVE to be at $250. I have been paying nearly 3x that much for a $60k vehicle for the past three years.

I just want to get into that range.

All I want to know is how much I need to put down on the vehicle at $36,334 to get to that rate.

And thank you for helping explain my situation on LeaseHacker. I am taking a bath over there.

I am sorry that I did not listen to you. I tried to do it your way with the dealer and he would have none of it.

If you guys can’t come up with a deal for me – and I am willing to compensate you with a gift card for it – I will look into calling a broker in the morning.

What should I search for on Google: Car lease broker NJ?

Thanks"

So there is no actual reason for $250 a month. You legit couldn’t pay me enough money to have any ties with this guy.

If anyone wants to bite, he’s over at driveaccord…
