Ignore the ppl saying to forget a Honda. They’re great cars, and although they aren’t the absolute best leases, it doesn’t mean you should avoid them altogether. Ppl get carried away here sometimes and will put price over every single other factor.
May as well get the best deal you can, and it happens to work out well that both you and that broker I linked are in IL.
Yes! I have to agree with you on that! You already know we always get a lot of flack on the RDX but theyre our best seller and people who have them don’t even feel the payment because they love the car so much lol
As a preface, I’m a repeat Honda owner (they don’t lease well and VA taxes) and I lease an MDX. Also, I’m generally biased against these subcompact SUVs since I think they are all too expensive for what they offer.
With that said, this seems like too much money for too little car. This one has 141hp, no leather, no power seats, manual climate controls etc… Those are very underwhelming specs for $333 a month. All this car offers over a Civic hatch, or even an Accord at a similar price point, is step in height and AWD.
If you want AWD and a seating position, I’d look at a different brand and pay $50-$100 less a month.
I’m in Rochester NY, here are the 2 deals I have right now. 3 Years/36k miles, No down payment
On the HR-V Sport :
Residual: $14,392.00
Payment: 309$ (Tx Included)
We do not charge a prep fee, there is a $75 dealer fee associated
MSRP:$24,815
Selling Price: $23,229
On the HR-V EX-L :
Residual: $15,911
Payment: 319 (Tx Included)
We do not charge a prep fee, there is a $75 dealer fee associated
MSRP: $27,915
Selling Price: $25,038.00
I would say poor deal at best. If you want the HR-V, just wrap your head around adding 24 months of payments (60 month loan) and an extra hundred bucks a month, and you own it! Free HR-V with 60k miles! Payment on a zero down loan for 5 years will be rite around $400. Those things hold their value pretty well, so it’s a no brainer, buy it.
This is before taxes right? And they’re telling me that since there is an incentive on the interest rate, they won’t bargain that low on the selling price
