Do those office workers live in a quant brownstone on Putnam?
We’re just joshing you at this point , I used to live in Bayside, Queens, so Brooklyn is indeed nice in my perspective.

unless you were in greenpoint, bay ridge
Bay Ridge? What do you know about Brooklyn, kid?
Is is not a decent neighborhood?
Didn’t you say Bay Ridge is not nice?
no, I was saying bay ridge and greenpoint are nice. One of the better parts in Brooklyn
Man…I grew up in the Village in the 70s/80s.
Recently watched Taxi Driver and was reminded what a s***hole NYC was back then! Didn’t even realize it growing up…it was home.
The other boroughs didn’t even register on the radar…went to the Bronx for the zoo/Yankee Stadium, Queens for Shea/Forrest Hills and Brooklyn for the Brooklyn Museum and Lugers. Otherwise, they were just places to drive through.
Totally forgot about Staten Island…a fun, cheap ferry ride!
How times have changed.
Which Village?
They use to charge money for the SI ferry?
If you want to take a stroll down memory lane, you don’t need a time machine, just visit NYC again.
Not exactly nicest place to live
like 25 years ago
You were even able to take your car with you on the ferry
Till 9-11…
