If I had a nickel for every time someone didnât cmd-c or ctrl-c on the link correctly and I then had to explain my browsing history to some HR or IT dudeâŚ
thanks. i fixed the link. what you listed in your response are what you do for free to promote your business not part of the $1000 fee. i just dont see how your $1000 service is more transparent or VIP than a broker deal.
I donât understand how this guy has ~200 5-star reviews on google. I mean, there are paid plants, but this is too good to be true.
But Im with this guy. You can call it a broker or a scam or watever, he is offering a service, people are paying for it out of their free will and its a free market economy. Nothing more to see here.
I would argue that things can have multiple benefit.
But either way.
-People have seen me negotiate. They understand what they are paying for. I have put my skill set online, to judge if its worth the money I am charging.
-I am only paid by the consumer. I think this can matter to consumers. A lot of brokers are paid by both. People could make the argument the broker may pick a deal that is better for payment to him, than whats best for the consumer. Not saying every broker operates this way but this would be a level of transparency.
-We have a customer profile page for our clients, that they can watch their deals negotiated live. So they can see what dealerships we are talking too, what offers have been there. And what may make the most sense for them. They see every offer no matter what, and are updated constantly.
But again, its in the eyes of the consumers to decide if its worth it or no. If consumers disagreed, they wouldnât use the service.
So, how do you (and your customers) know that you get the best deal after making just 2 calls when you say you donât have relationships with dealers? What if call #5 would save your customer another $1k? I think you said you donât promise best deals, but still⌠Are they really that dumb not to understand this? Brokers, on the other hand, list their numbers upfront. Talking about transparencyâŚ
To be fair, is he advertising or guaranteeing the âbestâ deal, though?
Presumably, there is some judgement from his end on what deal is worth taking or not, and clients will dictate whether it was worth it.
I have to imagine most paid clients who use him understand that there will be cases:
-
they couldâve beat the deal themselves if they tried hard enough
-
tomi would be able to do incrementally better over time with more calls, casting wider net, etc. itâs no different than folks hacking on here directly.
Of course if the negotiated deal ends up being âbad,â then clients wonât use him again.
Actually a great question

We do 150 deals a month, and track all the data of deals we get every month. So its really easy to for us to go back to previous data points to see what a âgood deal isâ. We also audit this data consistently and only allow us to rely on this data set for some many deals before we shop it to verify the market hasnât changed.
-
Listing your numbers upfront also doesnât âguaranteeâ the best number either. Who is to say the dealership that sent you those numbers are truly the lowest? Who is saying that dealership wouldnât go lower for someone else? I know for a fact some of the numbers that people post here I personally get lower from the person they are advertising from.
-
We post expected discounts on every car, and do a free consult if you have questions.
-
We donât have a dealership network that we rely on, but we have people that know who we are and have done business with us before. If I call that dealership and they give me⌠lets say 3k off a Grand Highlander Hybrid. We can all agree this is a great deal. I could shop this deal for hours or days (we used to do this) and realized that the original offer would be sold and we wouldnât have anything close. This is why we rely on our data set.
-
Just so we are clear, every client before we start their negotiation knows what we expect to negotiate. We give EVERYONE a range. If someone learns this after paying us, and doesnât think its worth it? We refund them before we start.
My point was: how does he know when to stop after making only 1-2 calls while exclusively working for his customers? Shouldnât there be at least some guaranteed amount of contacts made during the search in his business model?
I wouldnât pay $1k for one call unless I know the deal upfront.
My wife loves it too and wants a second smaller one hence the accidental link

Ahh got it, sorry for misunderstanding. And to be clear, I too prefer to know exactly price Iâm getting up front, which is why his service isnât for me. But I donât understand why many think heâs committing highway robbery here ⌠it sounds like consumers shouldnât be surprised and should know what to expect after initial free consult. People are choosing to pay, even given lack of âcertaintyâ of price.
Your point is well taken, and of course it isnât apples to apples, but in theory I see the flip side. By making X amount of calls, itâs possible he beats Broker-advertised deals by not having anything pre-negotiated.
Also, re: how he knows customer is getting âbest deal,â itâs similar to how brokers canât guarantee their dealer network wont improve discounts the next day, mid month, etc.
Probably because of these requirements: https://connect.ncdot.gov/business/DMV/DMV%20Documents/LT-415%20Minimum%20Dealer%20License%20Requirements%20(Rev.%2002-24).pdf
And then getting fined $5k each for his 200 deals a month that he was doing without a license: https://www.ncleg.gov/EnactedLegislation/Statutes/PDF/BySection/Chapter_20/GS_20-287.pdf
My guess is we see the account and all its posts deleted pretty soon
We donât have paid relationships. I was clear that we work with dealerships who know who we are. We get 20 million views a month on social media. This gives us a list of dealerships that do or do not know who we are. Who said we cold call every time? Some dealers know who we are. Some donât. Donât rely on it.
Cool, thatâs transparency but thatâs not what you said
Thatâs really not what you said
These âdealsâ suck ass
Thatâll buy a lot of Le Creuset.
I do not follow pricing on any of these cars except the RAV4. $3,800 off is better than any deal I have seen mentioned here. This is assuming it is not a plug in hybrid, and the $3,800 is off MSRP.
I encourage you to reach out to @Jrouleau426 then, an actual licensed broker and not some fake pseudo broker
To be fair, not to the millions that get man handled walking into dealerships âdemanding the advertised offerâ (I was actually told this by my Uncle about my âsuper lease savvyâ cousin).
Totally agree though itâs a very high price to pay for deals like that, but heâs selling a service. One that may be in legal peril but an apparently highly desired one nonetheless.
