For norcal Northern California. Has anyone used the services of Delivrd? They are not a broker but a deal negotiation service. Im in the market to get the lowest priced monthly lease for 10k/36mo, zero money down, any car, EV or gas, in the San Francisco Bay Area. I’m kinda turned off by some brokers (just a small group, not all brokers) that advertise unbelievable deals like crazy and when you look deeper, there’s just only 1 deal, 1 car, in 1 area. It’s almost as if I’m being baited and switched, just like dealing with a regular dealership salesman, a total turnoff. Or I have to looks through many pages, “just scroll to the bottom for the latest deals” tout pages, most of them false. So that’s why I’m interested in this “Delivrd” company, I don’t have time for back and forth negotiations, I just want one honest price, upfront. Has anyone tried this? What was your experience?
its a broker…
Wow he charges $1000 broker fee upfront without even telling you the deal he will put together for you… Brokers here post free quotes so you know what you are getting upfront
Pretty sure it’s just a kid from TikTok, not so much a company. Nothing really wrong with that but I don’t know why you wouldn’t just find a deal through a normal broker. Paying $1k upfront without even knowing what deal you are going to get is pretty ridiculous.
just trust me bro
There is Car Edge Concierge available too for $900 right now.
Brokers on here dont charge anything up front though. If they cant find what you want just move onto the next one
Honestly, I could do better. It’s embarrassing seeing what ppl are charging for and getting away with these days.
He is part of a growing social media niche of personal shoppers. He explained how hes not advertising the lowest price, and personally he is just a great source of cringey entertainment; “what will it take to get this dream on my driveway” nonsense.
Some of these media heads have in person deal sessions, where the customer interaction is documented, and smh cant believe folks just allow the debauchery to happen and that too on camera.
$1000 per deal, three shoppers, 150 deals a month plus whatever ad revenue he gets. I always wondered if he needs to register as a broker or his service walks in the gray area.
Genuine question, but if the car is available for the advertised price, and if that advertised price is better than what you can get on your own (or is a lot less work than getting a better deal on your own), what is the issue?
Idk about CA but in Michigan he’d need to register with the state as a broker, which requires a dealer license and carries the same requirements as a traditional dealership
In CA you need a retail dealer license to be a broker
Net value to customer: msrp + $1000
Net value to delivrd: 50+ phone calls to dealer in an hour, tik tok and youtube ad rev +1000
Could have just gone with @Jeff_BeachCitiesAuto for less?
I think the best I have seen is @mattevan with 6% off sticker.
Okay thank you all for straightening this out. So he’s a broker. Ok, then how do i go about finding a broker in the SF Bay Area of Norcal? And does a broker just deal with some brands or all brands? I heard EVs have the lowest priced leases. Today, I signed up with Costco auto buying program but I don’t know if they handle leases.
He probably comes to this site to find deals.
I can’t say for sure, but my guess is the OP is referring to things like clicking on a thread title that states “$119 per month!” Only to find out:
- it was a one-off deal that is no longer available and the broker hasn’t updated the title (possibly to drive traffic)
- That price is after incentives you don’t qualify for
- Requires money down, including a crazy doc fee and/or acq fee
- Requires thousands in MSDs
It really can be like looking at a dealer’s advertised deal with 50 lines of fine print.
Never really jump on here, but I negotiate car deals for my clients. I don’t use relationships, take bird dogs, or any money at all from the dealership.
Our process is extremely transparent and I negotiate deals live. If anyone asks me the deal they should get, I tell them what I have done. I do 150-200 deals a month.
Not a broker. But I also do free consults 6 days a week for 8 hrs straight and I am booked out for 2 weeks with a 200 person waiting list.
I think people don’t mind the way I do buisiness.
I am not a kid. I am 32. I have multiple employees.
Why would people not want to use a broker? Well first off transparency. I get paid 1k, thats it. No kickbacks, no bird dogs. Just 1k. I don’t use relationships but hand negotiate every deal. So every deal we do is for our clients, and we have no motivation to give them a deal thats better for me.
We also do 150+ deals a month. So I would say we are a company.
Beautiful thing about this is I put all my results and my work on social media. I live stream me working. If people want to know if its worth it… they just watch me. Its the definition of transparency.
