oh thats nice then lol

Still no timeline on when these will be available? We have a Volvo XC90 lease ending October/November and I was hoping to be able to move into one of these.

So a friend was able to drive/compare the Grand Wagoneer next to the Escalade and Navigator. He said it blew the navigator out of the water and slight edge over the Escalade. Apparently these will be much more in line with the service out of a caddy dealer than a Jeep dealer…separate area for GW owners, loaners, car washed after ever service. We’ll see if it sticks but 90-100k for a non-performance trim Jeep…::popcorn:

While it looks really good inside, I can’t imagine paying $100K for a Chrysler that has really good chance of being an electrical disaster.

Are you familiar with land rover?

Yes, one of the few brands with worse quality than Chrysler.

There is a difference in paying for a LR badge and paying for Chrysler badge. I’m very curious as to how this car will play out, but it has all the makings of VW Phaeton (sp?). It’s really doubtful that Jeep brand can support this price tag to a meaningful extent, as at the end of the day you still have to look in the mirror and realize you have a $100k Jeep, not to mention the ā€œkeeping up with the Jonsesā€ problem, where price tag will be severely overshadowed by, ā€œyou are driving a Jeep? ummm. how quaint.ā€

Agreed. My point was more about the price point and electrical issues though.

What’s the difference? Stupidity is stupidity regardless of the brand. There’s also the GMC Yukon Denali that can come close to 100k, so in the ā€˜you’re driving a GMC? ummm. How quaint.’ fashion, I think you can apply it to any domestic vehicle in this price range, at least from any of the non-luxury brands.

This thing starts at $89k, GMC Yukon Denali XL tops out at 90 and non XL a little less with the ultimate package (just checked GM site). So realistically this Jeep is in Caddy territory as far as domestics go, and at least to me gun to the head I’d take an Escalade over this.

Are you in New Jersey?

Yes, are you planning to bring that ā€œgun to my headā€ and make me chose one?

LOL!

Not even close to what I was thinking

Justifies the Cadillac decision over the Grand Wagoneer

HEY, that’s some bigotry right there. I mean totally justified and understandable, but still …

And I was just thinking it’s biggest selling point is it is NOT an Escalade.

edit: Stellantis has proven they can do opulent barcaloungers on wheels for years now, so I see this as a natural progression, a direct hit for their demographic.

Interesting thing about the dealers - but it’s not gonna stick - dealer experience will still suck no matter what - especially in NJ which has no good CJDR dealers. Kia and Hyundai have both tried this and failed. Lincoln has tried this and failed. Unless it’s a separate building with separate staff, the experience will suffer because most standard CJDR customers are sadists and love being treated like shit.

And they’re checking out how they’re latest procedure/injection is faring…which was the mirror’s main purpose.

GLS, X7, RR, there are so many better ways to spend $100k than a Jeep. Escalade only came up because someone brought up domestics and where this thing stands against Denali line.

I’m not up to speed on domestics honestly, but what are you referring to?

Chrysler/FCA is now stellantis
