I think Genesis is a different problem then Jeep all together. Genesis has figured it out, and has tons of competitor research and their own home boutique luxury selling experience to draw from (genesis in SKorea is tesla like in experience). They have also actually convinced dealerships we have product that will sell with the GVs.
Jeep is using hopium as their main driving force currently to sell the wagoneer.
here theyāre in the same building as the hyundai dealership, share the same service bays, and are put in line with all the other hyundai customers when it comes to getting work done. i donāt really know how they expect to stand out on a service level when thatās taking place. admittedly, them dropping off a loaner and picking up your car is very nice, but when thatās where the āpremiumā experience stops its kind of a dead end proposition.
Not that itās gonna happen but they should upgrade the dealership experience for everyone based on price point. CDJR is no longer a value oriented company. They median list price for cars at most of their dealerships is about 50k. Only due to the unique nature of full size pick-up and jeep buyers can they get away with the current dealership experience. I canāt imagine Acura surviving with that style of dealership experience and their average car lists for about the same as at CDJR dealership.
