Does anyone have the link to the GM Barclays card application form for $500 off $1,000?

I got an authorization code and pin but the email doesn’t have a link to the application form?

Thanks. Where do I enter the authorization code and pin? It only shows the 30,000 points offer.

Where have you got the code from? They normally issue that once you’ve applied/been approved

I think the salesperson did something then I received an email with the code and pin to apply for the card. But the email does not contain any link.

Yeah sounds like they applied on your behalf. Or at least did the pre check. Did they have your SSN? Need that to get the code

Question regarding this card. Do you get 500$ off a lease or purchase PLUS $300 in rewards after spending 1k? So 800$ total?

Because 30k gm points is equivalent to $300 cash right?

You actually have to put $1,000 of your initial purchase/lease on the new GM credit card to get the $500.

Said differently, your minimum DAS has to be $1,000 paid with the new card. I believe this $500 is separate from the 30,000 point introductory point offer.

Yes. You get the points for your $1000 DAS on the card, plus the $500 incentive.

Or do a one pay like I did and put whole amount on new card and get even more pts. Up to dealer not all will do. And limit approved for.

When this happens with any card issuer, I always attempt to resolve it immediately.

Call Barclays (google “reconsideration line”). Often a pending credit card application just requires some additional verification, and you can get your application reviewed by an analyst while you’re on the phone.

Thanks. I was able to get to someone. In this digital world, they now need me to mail my Driver’s License, SSN, utility bill. They said the application is approved for credit card but they need to verify identity and I cannot email or fax the documents, and it could take 7-10 days after they receive my mail.

Were most you approved instantly? Just wasted a hard inquiry. Don’t really need the card other than the car to be honest.

Yeesh, normally on these things when one encounters business processes that were outmoded by the personal computer, one is dealing with a credit union.

The $500 bonus on a successful new Barclays/GM card application goes to the dealer immediately.

The points take a billing cycle to show up.
