I closed my transaction in June, and my experience mimics yours…Same original contract with a swapped out VIN. My only regret is that one week after I closed my transaction, they announced the $6300 MSRP drop on the 23s. I could have swapped into the most expensive 23 Bolt Premier, but instead settled for a 22 2LT. As consolation, I guess we got to swap out a few months earlier and enjoy our 22s sooner. Anyways, for FlyingMachine, this is great timing on your part.

We’ve been waiting for the RVDC to find a hosting dealer for the past 3 weeks, which is a bit frustrating. We are considering taking legal action instead, which in CA is supposedly fairly straightforward (though lengthy) in getting to settlement according to some lawyers. Has anyone else gone this route? As much as I’d like to get into a 2023, it’s hard to turn down a full repurchase plus civil penalties.

Oh very interesting. So best financial move is to maximize MSRP and then buy the less than year old car at prior lease residual and then profit?

Oh I didn’t think about that. Probably something to be said for going over MSRP for higher % profit, though doubt I would secure a C8.
Already found a dealer to host (only around 5 days wait). Now have to order my vehicle…not sure what to order at this point? Thoughts on Traverse vs. Silverado? Concern is a 40k Silverado is not the v8 4x4 truck that many people want…
