GM Financial has updated their lease transfer criteria where they no longer require the original lessee to maintain the lease for the first 6 months. In other words, you can transfer out right after the title has been updated on the car (wait for 1st month statement).
The remaining criteria remains same which is: Same state transfers only and transfer cant be done in the last 6 months of the lease.
