I would have never settled for 6% off my Audi, for example, and many (like me) qualify for fleet/corporate sales programs through their employer or other membership group.
I have an offer from CLEAR for one free year of Founders Card membership, but benefits like late checkout at IHG properties aren’t exactly making my thighs sweat.
Apparently the full list of membership benefits and detailed descriptions are shown only after joining, which I believe tells me what I need to know about the ongoing value.
I have the founders club elite, which brands you looking at I’ll post the benefits. Some benefits only open to elite members. I found it useful and renewed but I use it for many business benefits.

I was going to take a pass on this, but I have an international plane ticket to buy in the next couple of weeks, and since the membership is free for the first year… it’s worth a try to see if any of the vague “savings off standard fares” benefit gets us anything.
I usually book this itinerary with United or Lufthansa.

Corporate Sales Program Cash Purchase incentives are available to all members of FOUNDERSCARD that have partnered with BMW USA and MINI USA. Customers can use their own source of funding to purchase a new BMW or MINI vehicle.
Corporate Sales Program Lease or Finance incentives are available to members of FOUNDERSCARD that have partnered with BMW USA and MINI USA and who do not currently own or have not owned a BMW or MINI in the last twelve months. Customers must Finance or Lease the vehicle through BMW Financial Services NA, LLC, including its division MINI Financial Services. All applications are subject to credit approval by BMW or MINI Financial Services. Other offers may be available to members of FOUNDERSCARD who are more recent BMW or MINI owners.
Employee must provide a current paystub as proof of eligibility. The paystub is used to verify employment with a company participating in the BMW Group Corporate Sales Program. The employee may redact personal information that is not relevant to prove the employment relationship. Provided paystubs will remain with the BMW or MINI dealer for auditing purposes and are not shared with third parties.
Corporate Sales Program incentives can be combined with other program credits such as Lease, APR, or Cash credits. It is not combinable with the Loyalty or Conquest program.

I found the same surprise when I signed up. Need to pay to get the good benefits. Canceled right after, don’t need the worry for forgetting to cancel next year. They still let you keep the membership (and what little it’s worth) for the remainder of the year after you cancel.
Haven’t done a car rental in a while, but the time has arrived… and I’d virtually forgotten about this FC membership that was comped through CLEAR for one year.
But it did occur to me that I saw President’s Circle as a benefit, so why not connect the benefit to my Hertz account?
