Yup. Ditch the mustang name/badge/tail lights and just call this the “Mach E” and it’d be way better

Now that is a big one! Just take a look back at the specs the Model 3 had at launch and compare to now…all done through OTA updates. That can be monetized.

Averaging that for the year, that’s 3.5% of the 200k vehicle tax credit limit. So yes, a very small number. Very unlikely to matter if the Mach E sells in large volume. More likely to matter if the vehicle sells relatively slowly.

Ugh. Weren’t there also a ton of probs w/ the Corsair and Aviator/Explorer releases? They can’t afford to keep f*cking up the releases of such important vehicles.

Ford’s response in the article is also super disappointing. An OTA release “later in the year.” WTH? Is that 1 mo from now? 6 mos from now? And needing to find a workaround just to be able to tow your car the dealer b/c the hood release is electronic.

I don’t recall seeing a bunch with the corsair (which isn’t to say there weren’t), but the explorer/aviator was ridiculous.

Entirely possible I’m combining the two model lines since the Corsair did pretty poorly in Consumer Reports annual survey (which may or may not have had anything to do w/ probs upon initial release).
