I got this quote from quirk ford And I got a Nother quote from auto saver ford in New York they deliver anywhere in New England and will do everything over the phone and their price was 450 a month first payment due when they drop it off to me
Just wanted to share this deal in case anyone’s interested
(I couldn’t get a price on a limited or platinum as most of them are being recalled right now and cannot be sold

Jesus. Over 50k for f150 xlt

U can’t even get leather until lariat trim!

Selling price is 41k

imo xlt’s are overpriced, we lease f150 platinums at $650 0 down all day, $200 is a big difference but do the math yourself, we also lease for 12k miles but can lease at 15k for an extra $25. platinums are stickering at 63k and up. Lariats are best bang for buck if you’re on a budget you can score one for high 4s low 5s with most of the gadgets.

Lariat is the way to go. Have fun with an XLT and manual climate control. NEVER AGAIN.

Raptor is the way to go. I’d pay four hundred a month for that, but then after the garage and over-sized fee it would cost a G. Damn.

there’s no lease program for the raptor and good luck getting a discount, some dealers get over msrp for them.

I was trying to get quotes for an F-150 yesterday, the dealers I talked to said the XLT had the better deal going than Lariats. I’d rather get a Lariat, but the quotes I got on XLT seemed a little high so I gave up quickly. This is in Minnesota.

Here’s the quote I got:
MSRP: $50,590
Sale price: $41,512
Tax: $736
Fees: $759
Doc Fee: $100
Total: $44,001

12k MPY, 36 months, $0 down
Payment: $479
Residual: $30,354

$500 is definitely lariat range, and since they updated bodstyles if you could get 15k off msrp of a 17 you would be in kr/platinum/limited range in the mid 500s

What I think your salesman was trying to say was that the incentives and rebates are the largest on the xlt and 10-15k off msrp is very common during the summer and end of year sales.

Every situation is different but for my money if you can get a platinum/kr and even lariat in the mid to high 5s its worth so much more than the basic xlt, as the lariat and up provide heated/cooled seats, leather, console shifter, options for the tech packages (acc/ldw/ active park assist/360 cams/ auto high beams/rain sensing wipers) but my biggest gripe is that you have to get the lariat 502a and. up for those led headlights. It all depends on your budget though.

Check out swapalease and you will see many xlt crew cabs are in the 300s and low 400s.

Maybe I’ll wait a month then. I have 11 months left on my current lease of a Jeep Grand Cherokee. I’d like to get back in an F-150, and an XLT is ok - as long as it has the 302A and sport package and Sync Connect, I’ll be happy. That’s the one that I got the quote on, though that has nav as well. The Lariat will need 501A plus buckets and I’d be ok with it. If I could find that for right around that quote I’d be happy. Sounds like a 17 might be in that range if I can find that kind of discount.

As a note, that quote above is for an '18.

Well, I found a '17 Lariat at the same dealer equipped close to what I want (501A, buckets) but with a few things I don’t care about like the chrome package, and tailgate step. They have it listed with a $10k discount, hopefully the residual would make it worth it. Plus it’s a color I don’t want, but would live with for the right numbers. I’ll let you know what I find out (if anyone cares).

keep us updated, definitely try cars.com/autotrader and throw shots at dealers within a 500 mile range, best way to get the best numbers.

Shipping a truck in that distance at max will be a few hundred bucks

He quickly got back to me saying the 2017 residuals are lower, and XLT’s lease better.

You are right, that’s how I did it previously. I did an Edmunds price quote on a 2013 F-150, got the emails back from several dealers and negotiated from there. That one, I did get an XLT with all the options, and it was a really good deal at the time, $318/month. When I couldn’t get any others to get close, I figured it was good.

The Jeep, I emailed a few, got the quotes I could live with, went to one of the dealers on the last day of the month and negotiated there. I likely could have done better, but I was pretty happy with it at the time. My wife has hated the Jeep from the beginning though, she misses the old F-150. Now that it is closer to the end, and I keep getting the messages from the Chrysler/Jeep dealer, to trade it in, I figure I should shop around.

500 miles and less, I’d be willing to drive to. I’d be trading the Jeep in anyway (if they give me enough to cover the buyout, I’ll be happy, if not, I’m already planning on getting rid of it so that’s how it goes).

Thanks!

yup, he’s right that residuals are lower on 17s but you can also get giant discounts on 17s, my dad and his business parter who are builders lease the platinums at $599 a month with 0 down and only doc fees and dealer fee driveoffs, no way a xlt should be $479, $325-$399 is xlt range depending on options. There’s an almost $15-$20k difference in sticker price on these trucks so the math doesn’t add up. Good luck on your search, feel free to ask any questions about the truck itself, the updated body is amazing and boosts the mpg numbers so much, not to mention all the class leading features.

just contacted muzi ford in massachusettes-they have a 2017 lariat loaded up 501a package ect for 399 a month 600$ down-thats not including all fees taxes ect, so between excise and state tax thats another 80$and 2400$ down …still at 480 month plus 75$(zero down…2400$ would be about that i think )
555$ a month?
they also have a 2018 king ranch for 3000 down 475$ a month -same thing no fees included
the salesmen said he’s loosing money just looking to move them

thats a good deal on the lariat, and is it $475 a month after taxes on the king ranch?

2pac. I appreciate your knowledge. I’ll be on the hunt for a crew cab, short bed, 4x4 fairly loaded in the next couple of months.

Depending on your MF % that’s not a horrible deal.
I have a 2016 F150 lariat MSRP close to $54k and my monthly is $433 plus tax… I also had a trade they over allowed on. I only put $800 down but my paperwork said $7k cash due (which was probably out of my trade)
But my deal is not repeatable, not even to me. Dealer was lucky to break even.

Edit: BTW for people who think that doesn’t make sense… I leased @ 5% MF
