Ford F-150 xlt lease quote

id be driving it if it was lol -unfortunatly no-probly 575$ payment after including taxes and excise -then 3 k down plus 2400 dealer doc ect.
what a beautiful truck !

no doubt a beautiful truck, at the right time you can hunt them down for mid 5s with 0 down but I’m basing that off my 4.25% tax state.

Ford’s mf is terrible you are right, its not nearly 5% anymore. More like between 1 and 4 at the max but still very high.

A 2017 Lariat for about $415/month with $0 down plus tax, title, and license is not bad at all. My math for my local sales tax, title, and license fees is around $490/month then. That is not much more than the XLT I had quoted yesterday at $479.

big jump from an xlt to a lariat and the monthly jump if your calculations are right are totally justifiable. $10 is basically paying about $400 for all the features and comfort the lariat provides over the xlt

I’m going to say all this in good humor.Sounds like most peeps on here should be driving Continentals! It’s all about show trucks. But, I get it. It’s just that some of us use our trucks for hauling lumber and work crap. ( no!!!) I like a nice truck, too. But, I need an 8 ft bed. XLT is as good as it gets. Sadly so. Here in Ga, Ford apparently does not offer any lease incentives. But, as I am learning on this site, almost anything can be negotiated.
Does anyone have any advice for someone looking to lease a really nice work truck?
In my state, a lease is apparently taxed up front for the full value of the car. Can the tax be rolled into the deal, keeping the drive out near nothing?

Going to address your first comment, if you read above my dad and his partner both lease platinums because they own a very large construction company, on a daily basis they have to hop from job site to job site while making trips to the office and occasionally having to haul sheetrock, boxes of wood floors, lumber, dishwashers, and whatever else miscellaneous things that are needed for new homes that 84 lumber, lowe’s,home depot forgets to deliver or cant deliver in time to stay on schedule, now with that being said he doesnt want to drive a beater truck with no a/c when he needs to sit in his truck supervising sites on a 90+ degree summer day and on the same token he doesn’t want to drive his s class, Bentley, rolls royce to his dirty job sites and have it sit on literal dirt. As for others out there, some have retired and want a nice truck, some can afford it just for the heck of it, but one thing about these upper level trim f150s is that you can take it to the jobsite get it dirty, take the family out to the lake and haul your boat and still when it’s clean you can take it out to a high end resturant and have it parked in the front next to the rest of the luxury vehicles and not look too much out of place.

As far as tax goes in Georgia to the best of my knowledge it has to be paid up front but I heard somewhere that there would be new laws in effect in january, you can check the site and research it. As far as leasing the xlt has massive rebates and incentives and you can get up to 15k off msrp at times, you can check edmunds for the residuals and money factor and put them into the calculator, as far as deals go you can post what you get from the dealer and ask for opinions.

Thanks for the response. I completely get all you are saying.
Thanks for the advice, too. I’m glad I found this site. If only I could go back about a month to when my wife and I got hosed on a Lincoln lease. An MKC that she loves. Good thing. Lol

No problem , also forget to mention the 8 foot bed only comes in the 2 door or extended crew cab models, best of luck on your hunting and hope you get a good deal.

Say one finds a vehicle up to 500 miles away, and has it shipped in the end. Is this also under the assumption that one would be selling their current vehicle Private Party?

Might be a bit tough to trade in a current vehicle to a dealer 500 miles away, no? Also, I understand that there’s other options like CarSense, CarMax, etc.

I received the following quote for a loaded F-150 XLT. It will have Katzkin aftermarket leather seats added by a Massachusetts dealer, included in the lease payment but not capitalized. It is a Super Crew V8 6.5’ bed with just about every possible option. Seems to lease better than the Lariat.

39 month / 15k miles lease, 57% residual, true zero out the door, only 38 payments to be made.
Base payment: $554
Payment with sales and excise taxes included: $635

MSRP (top line): $60,435
MSRP after on-sticker package discounts:$57,935
Residual: $34,448

Taxes $3,092
Leather aftermarket $817
Bank Acq Fee $645
Doc Fee $459
Title Prep $5
Excise $44
Inspection $35
Reg and title $135

Fair deal?

Thanks in advance for your comments.
