Fisker orders, delivery etc

I didn’t find $19k worth of options on the One or the Extreme. If the Ultra is mostly the same, the highest priced trims will be a tough sell.

Agree with you completely. The Ultra appears to offer the best price/performance/features ratio. Has most of the options as the One/Extreme except some esoteric stuff and is still dual-motor, AWD.

I got the invite to order the Ocean One with the $5k deposit and I definitely placed my deposit after they announced 40k reservations

Will see how the bill pans out. But this could be good for the pear. Not for the ocean.

Fisker is on top of it. I think it’ll be possible for current reservation holders to get the credit.

Get your reservations in everybody!

I don’t see how there’s any chance they could lock something in for the Pear…maybe the ocean but even that is pushing it

Pear is a non issue unless you hit income limits. Built in Ohio and super cheap.

Correct. Pear comes out in 2024. The Pear very well may qualify for the new tax credit (as it’s drafted) dependent on battery procurement, which I’m sure Fisker would adjust if needed. Then you’d just need to be under the income caps to get the credit on the Pear.

You’re right, I wasn’t thinking about the new credit was thinking about qualifying under the current one

The 5000 Fisker One cars are all reserved. This is a great sign for the long term viability of the company. It’s another signal that the car is not vaporware and that Fisker is NOT about to go bankrupt again, like so many in the comments sections say whenever a Fisker article is published on an auto website.

One thing is certain they just received $25 Million in non refundable cash.

The wording of the statement seems kind of suspect to me, not sure if they actually sold out or just closed it themselves

I was just going to say. It doesn’t say they actually got 5000 but that they closed the wait list.

The cars haven’t actually sold, they’re still reserved. I think they’re being careful with words.

Also, I bet they’re holding a few for celebrities and VIPs.

Fisker said all along that the deadline to reserve the one would be July 31st. They closed after that date, cant really say they filled up the 5000 slots.

Do you have a source for that? I’ve done pretty extensive research and have not seen that.

Every email I got from them was counting down the days left to reserve the One.
