First Time Lease - VW Arteon SEL R Line 4 Motion or BMW 330i xdrive M Sport

, ,

I am looking to buy a BMW and didn’t know the $2000 Costco incentive, how does that work please

Can anybody tell me if this is a good or bad deal?
MSRP $53720
dealer discount $3,683.2 (6.86%)
selling price $50036.8
36 months/12000k
residual: 57%
Money factor: .00093
taxed incentives: $1000 (manufacture)
acquisition fee: $925
dealer fees: ~$599.85
DMV fees: ~$512.09
The lease hacker score is 7.1

Zipcode is 07010
Tax rate: 6.625%

no money down payment will be 684

Please explain the $1500 and $2000 incentives in your calculator.

The $1500 is the current lease credit from BMW.

The $2000 Costco discount you were talking about is built into your price, so you’re including it twice. Unless I’m missing something?

$2000 is actually the current manufacturer incentive, $500 for military, and $1000 for recent college grad

so if I have a costo membership I would get an additional $2000 off?

There is no costco incentive right now, I was mistaken by the wording of the seller. It is just a regular incentive that you can get without any memberships.

oh ok, thank you
by the way do you think this is a good deal?

Not a good deal. Check out the “Marketplace”. There are brokers advertising 10% off MSRP.

just checked on Edmund s and $1,500 is the manufacture incentive

do you have a link to that please?

This is just one broker’s deal: DMVLease June BMWs: 10%: 330i, 530i, X3 30i; 8%: X7; 7%: 540ix; 6%: X3 M40i, X4s, X5s, X6s. Shortages persist! - #474 by prithvi188.

If you browse other broker’s threads you will see similar deals on this car.

@Nyrenevel1 - I would suggest privately messaging the broker with your info.

The bmw deals are getting worse. Look at this horrible deal a friend just got quoted.

To be fair, have BMW convertibles ever leased that well (genuine question)?

Maybe not in an absolute sense but yeah much better than that for 3/4 series cabs.

If 2-seat roadsters count then Z4s were a steal at one point long ago.

Totally true

Hey everyone! Just a quick update. I think i’m going to go with this one (Audi A4 Premium Plus), I have not seen any brokers or dealers that have this deal in my area and I think this would suit me the best:

Just the VA tax kinda kills it…

Is this a deal that you and a dealer have agreed upon?

It was a little tweaked:

what’s the breakdown of lease incentive?

$2500 Audi incentive, think it was Manufacturer, and $1500 Truecar Military (needed to go to the website, verify, and print out voucher with code)
