After going through a tough task of deciding between an E-Class Loaner and a base C43 AMG, i finally went with a brand new C43. This forum has incredibly helped me and thanks to all of the member’s who shared their knowledge. Here are the details. Could i have done anything better?
Also i informed the dealer that i will buy the car only if they offer me the 3 year pre-paid maintenance for free and they did.
Asked to include the fourth maintenance for free when i went into the dealership and the sale’s manager was pissed off and said that they did the best they had and i can leave if i don’t like the deal.
MSRP: $56595
Selling Price: $49845 (The initial negotiated price was $50595.When i informed the dealer about the Penfed fleet that i had, he informed that he can add the differential amount of $750 = $2000 penfed fleet - $1250 dealer incentive)
MF: .00090
MSD’s: 10
RV: 57%
Term: 12k/36 month
Monthly Lease: $505
Here are some pics of the car

good looking car, congrats!
What do you mean with “fourth maintenance for free” ?
Also if I’m understanding you correctly you said they incl. the maintenance so why are you breaking it down into payment with or without maintenance?
Can you break down the $3235 drive off?
Congrats, that’s a good monthly for a c43. What went into the $3k+ drive off?

Is it 472 what you are actually paying or 505?
Upfront taxes $1212, First month payment of $505, Marked up Acq fee of $1095 and NJ DMV: $350
Sorry for the confusion. It is $505
You should just say monthly of 505 with tax and maintenance plan to not confuse people.
Congrats!
The maintenance plan with Mercedes is discounted and residualized so it isn’t $30 per month.
Ah, didn’t know that it is residualized . Good thing to know. Updated the post…
Thanks. Initially i negotiated the car for 12k 36 month with the 3 year pre-paid maintenance included and when i went into the dealership, i was like if i put more miles than 40k, i needed the fourth or 40k maintenance and asked the dealer if the extra maintenance can be provided and he refused.
Here is the breakdown: Upfront taxes $1212, First month payment of $505, Marked up Acq fee of $1095 and NJ DMV: $350
so the equivalent of this deal for a state that doesn’t charge taxes upfront would be payment $505+$33 tax ($1212/36) with $1445 total due … that’s a pretty good deal for C43, i’ve gotten quotes of higher than that on a C300 in FL! Congrats

Congrats on a decent deal - at the start of the year people were being quoted 700+ a month for this car.
Now the real question @johncena - when are you marrying @nikkibella?

Congrats ! Mind sharing qgat packages are on the car. Definitely see the lighting package.
Definitely makes sense that better deals are coming on this as the refresh 19s are going to be coming pretty soon.
Looks like you found a needle in the haystack with a model only set up with a few standalone options and no packages. That definitely helps with discount.

That’s true. All i was looking was for was for all wheel drive, key-less go, electronic trunk opener, Burmester sound system (missed this one) and navigation (missed this one).
The disappointing thing was there were 4 more cars with the same price and 3 in the tri-state area were sold off while i was negotiation the selling price to $49845 and to include the free pre-paid maintenance.
The fourth one is https://www.mercedesalexandria.com/inventory/new-2018-mercedes-benz-c-class-amg®-c-43-sedan-4matic®-sedan-55swf6eb0ju269722 and this dealer is not willing to add the differential fleet amount and free pre-paid maintenance. All i was able to get this dealer down was to $50,595 (If anyone is still looking they still have it i guess, and the monthly price before taxes and fees is $584)
I’m more happy that i got the pre-paid maintenance with a decent price but i have to get adjusted to live with not having the Burmester sound system since we have that in our previous C300 4Matic.
The value of that prepaid maintenance is $10-$15/mo. Wouldn’t be a make or break feature on a deal for me personally, I’d rather have the sound system I really want in my car which I will enjoy everyday than worry about the oil change cost. But that’s just me, and I’d just service it for cheaper at an independent shop.
