F-150 Lightning... Reservation & Ordering Discussion

Sounds like you should just get a used Toyota Prius.

At least this month, Ford isn’t passing through any RCL cash on the 24s. And most dealers aren’t allowing the x-plan rebate with discount pricing. I would recommend trying to find a leftover 23 instead.

You know anything about this program for 2023s? Dealer is telling me X-Plan is not eligible and I need to have A or Z. They said they looked at terms, I’m asking for a copy of them to see. This incentive seals the deal for me.

I got this directly from Ford Partner site and it shows on the specific truck I am looking to buy on Fords site.

$6,750 AXZ Plan Bonus Customer Cash Program #90122: Take new retail delivery from dealer stock by 09/30/2024.

There is no x-plan rebate this month on 2023s, only on 2024s.

For most 2023s, the target rebate stack would looking something like;

EV RCL
Bonus Cash (ER only)
Summer Cash
Tesla Conquest

The amounts can vary by trim. This would in addition to the dealer discount.

Appreciate it! They said I must have A or Z plan, not X for #90122 on the 23s.

It’s been tough grinding, but I’m just about tapped out. Best bang for the buck is on the 2023 Lariat and there’s almost none in-stock. Platinums are $1k/mo, which just isn’t worth it in my eyes. I’ll get a hummer for that much.

Test drove an XLT though. Not too bad for a base trim.

I actually like the XLT with the smaller screen and more physical controls.

Exactly why I bought an XLT. Got a great deal on a 2023 XLT ER, and got physical controls instead of a stupid giant screen.

I haven’t tried very hard yet, but this lines up with what I’ve been able to get. I don’t have Tesla but do have X plan and on a SR Lariat all I could get was $7,750 RCL + $900 Summer = $8,650. Need a pretty big dealer discount to make it compelling.

I found a 2023 Lariat w/ 511a after calling every Ford Dealership around. It was apparently “forgotten” in a back lot.

82k MSRP
3000 dealer discount
$900 customer cash
$7000 EV RCL
$2500 bonus cash

$663/mo + tax and $3k DAS. Not the greatest deal, but they really helped me out on trade in value for my Panamera.

Also confirming X-plan does nothing for these.

I have a local dealer with a 2023 Platinum still on the lot, I think it was a demo vehicle. I’m trying to get numbers from them now, but I think my 9 month old iX lease is going to kill any hopes for this to be an affordable transition (and by affordable, I mean just keep my monthly payments the same, which is $900/mo). They want me to come into the dealership to have them evaluate my trade in and talk numbers, trying to suggest that’s how I’ll get the best deal, but going there will be a hassle, so I’m hoping something good can come of phone calls and emails. The current list of rebates/discounts they’re showing me on the Platinum are vast, maybe up to $20k off.

The platinum doesn’t get the bonus cash the XLT ER gets, but has a higher EV RCL cash allowance, but a much worse RV. A best-case lease stack would look something like-

EV RCL $12250
Summer Cash $900
Tesla Conquest $1500

36mo has been working out slightly cheaper but I prefer the shorter 24mo term. You should be well under $900/mo (depending on tax situation).

The dealers around me seemed to prefer keeping the Platinums as lot trophy’s next to their 1 raptor. I couldn’t get them to budge on a discount.

Also, I absolutely love this thing!

Out of curiosity, did the dealer say that the AXZ rebate would stack? I have a-plan via my grandfather and I can’t get a straight answer from a dealer.

Car guru says 835 left of 23s i think now is the time if anyone is interested to get one…

So looks like if you finance or lease a lighting (doesnt say which trim) you get a free home charger and free installation,
