Below is the thread on LH with actual Californians attempting to take advantage of the programs you linked above. @Sparky11 and @waterlilinyc can speak to their personal successes trying to execute on these California rebate in 2024.
There’s a reason this thread below is almost dead, and nobody has posted in LH’s Signed! section about taking advantage of these programs. It’s almost impossible for a CA household to have these income limits and enough free time to shitpost on LH to take advantage of the programs in 2024. Stark contrast with CO and their program in 2024.
The only people I know that have taken advantage of the programs you linked in 2024 are very elderly seniors on fixed income, and post-grad students who were basically filing individually but still getting their rent paid by somebody else.
PS, the California E-Bike incentive is the new gambit. I know a few people who are having their retired parents “buy” an eBike, only to take the eBike for themselves since their personal income exceeds the limit. Way easier to pull this gambit on an eBike than on a EV.
