Since your always right and whatever evidence I provide you will brush aside as “anecdotal aberration”. All I can say is I have two family members and a best friend buried in Arlington. My family and my inlaws have deep military ties and I personally have driven my 93 yr old grandfather to many VA appointments. Even the Docs have said the VA needs a massive overhaul this was absent of any political talks. Did that need to come in the form of rif’s? Who knows but the government is broke and we cant keep printing or diverting funds from other sources…in any business the first thing chopped is people.
Yikes, So I have been a laborer for most of my life. Started at 9 cleaning horse stalls and bailing hay at the farms near my house. Father owned a construction remodeling business have been working with him since I was 14. I grab jobs on the weekend to help out my buddies roofing or my brothers remodeling business when they need help. Does it break down your body? Sure does im from a farming/blue collar town and everyone has a war story. You know who I dont hear on the internet whining about no one wants to do those jobs? The people who do those jobs…and those jobs outside of the trades are vastly disappearing overseas. We have whole towns decimated by the plant they worked at leaving for “cheap” labor overseas.
I find it funny when people in this country are worried about the business that screwed them sending the manufacturing overseas. When did libs get so passionate about big business?
China does not have the largest “naval fleet” and I’m no more scared by China having the largest civilian ship building industry and I would be scared by a country having the most horses circa 1939. The two does not translate, civilian shipbuilding technology is vastly divorced from military technology.
The average American has $140k in their 401k, and that’s not counting all the mutual funds and pension funds. What are you even smoking?
Someone bought $1.1 million of 0dte SPY 510 calls 10 minutes before the announcement. They 35xed their bet and made a cool $35 million.
This administration is literally a den of frauds and scammers. This is some of the most blatant insider trading I’ve seen in a long time.
I’m struggling to understand why you think this is even remotely equivalent to actually working a trades job full time.
And no, the people who do those jobs complain about the younger generation not wanting to do their work all the time. I can tell you don’t actually work in trades.
How did businesses screw them over by sending low value low productivity work overseas and moving the economy up the value chain? Why do you believe it’s “the libs” complaining and not the center-left and center right?
Never said I work in the trades I come from a blue collar background and have done just about every trade there is in building houses, remodeling and working on cars. Not that I have to justify my background.
Not sure where you got your figures from, but the average you’re speaking of is people with a 401k or pension. Yes those people have an average of 140k by age 45. However, only 60% of the country has a pension or 401k.
I can tell by your tone that the hatred fuels your belief system that doesn’t leave room for civil discourse. I will always be wrong because you and others will move the goal post, you will always be right because….your just right.
Doing very well. Most of his key people have been with him for 30+ years. All employees have health insurance, 401K and profit sharing. It helps that he’s located in a depressed area, so there are not a lot of good options.
Funds were prob making bets like this every minute of the day for the last week. A mill is chump change to these people and worth the risk/reward. Probing insider trading is much more complex that that I’d imagine
I predict down tomorrow as everybody realizes that the tariffs on China, Mexico, Canada, cars, lumber, and pharmaceuticals are still in effect. Everybody was so eager for Trump to back down from his course that they didn’t realize it was a slight adjustment not a 180.
