Incentives don’t mean anything if the residual is bad and the MF is high, tons of EV’s out there with tons of incentives.
If you’re planning to keep it, its a good deal, the Rav 4 prime has trash interior and AWD system. The 4xe is unreliable, my friend had to bring his into the dealer a lot the irst year - actually it might have been a Lemon I just realized he got another 4xe but still.
The deals are on leasing EV’s, and say what you want about the Toyota but it will hold it’s resale, the Mitsu will not.
im buying out the lease, OTD will be getting about 8k off MSRP - subtracting lease fees and with a dealer discount. A loaded Prime XSE would be 10k or more than what I paid.
We get it. You constructed a goalpost that only one car can get through. don’t think there’s any point trying to convince everyone how amazing it is. You’re just wasting internet breath.
Enjoy your new ride.
Anything Santander should be ok
Okay in what sense (genuine question)?
You can buy out mitsubishi lease they havent stopped 3rd party
Congrats. I might get one today lol. God help us all
Old people and evo 9?
Man I miss the evo 7…What does that make me!?
You won’t regret it, the car keeps impressing me and others I’ve shown it to (a Tesla Y owner told me he regrets getting it after looking at the Outlander). Got 40 miles EV range on my first local drive, charges overnight on level 1 so level 2 isn’t even necessary imo.
ancient man
Test drove an SEL PHEV at Universal (which is ironically in Van Nuys). I really liked it, except the console pushes my legs in too much (I’m 6’1"). Same problem I have with RX. The interior was comfortable, plenty of room in the middle row, screen VERY dated. 38-mile range is great for a PHEV, and the 2.4L 4-cyl doesn’t need premium gas like most of the turbo’d PHEVs.
The SEL feels like it should be a $400-450 lease - but they quoted 690 on 39/10K. I asked several times for $0 down, just the fees/tax, but they put in $1,200 down. $1K discount, $7,750 rebates. RV 53%, .00297 (7.128%) MF. Acq. fee is $1,095.
After test driving a Genesis GV70 EV, my wife absolutely hated the Outlander - but the GV70’s back seat is just too cramped for daily kid dropoffs.
On the quote below - which number do I put into the calculator for Dealer Fees/Gov’t Fees/Tax? Is the tax on rebates even listed? Thanks!
I’ll take “things that didn’t happen” for $500, Alex
1395 acq fee. Wow.
Tesla Y is a low bar though. Even a camry is a step up in trim
Wrong, he said he liked the interior and build quality. Also complained about the range. Have you driven or sat in a Y?
Yes it is, that’s why the guy was shocked that a Mitsubishi was so much better lol. He’s one of those people who thought Tesla was a luxury car.
Yeah the $7750 was discounted off cap cost.
