Does anyone know if Mitsubishi Santander allows lease buyout?

Still not a slog, faster than the Mazda 3 non-turbo

My friend leased one of those and exchanged it early because he kept having issues

The rav 4 interior is pathetically bad, like most Toyotas

Yeah, separate and apart from the car itself (and, TBH, I don’t quite understand how it could be that bad b/c it’s essentially the same thing as Rogue, which is… decent), it seems like the dealerships and/or bank is terrible (from a previous thread here were it seemed like a poster or posters were having difficulty getting dealership to honor the national deal).

As prices fall, csi plummets. Some stores believe in keeping prices and profits high as it keeps the customer satisfaction ratings high

Fascinating. I assume it’s a correlation (instead of a causation) thing…

We are talking about Mitsubishi here

the speculation is the customer who wants the 14% discount EVEN WHEN THEY GET EXACTLY WHAT THEY WANT, feel like they left an additional % or 2 on the table and thus give out 8/10s

I think I’ve read that somewhere (here?).

A related idea is that, for the old folks buying Buicks, they don’t care if they get ripped off as long as you treated them politely and made the whole process efficient for them.

Not so much old people, its people with money that give out the best CSI scores. The cheap bottom of the market absolutely destroy CSI.

“Mr Jones the car is priced at MSRP and I can have it delivered to your house in 3 hours paperwork all highlighted and ready to be signed out, what email address can I send the credit app to?”

I don’t want to off topic for too long (esp since I’m a mod now), but is the cheap bottom or is the people who ACT like the cheap bottom (so, in reality, “upper middle class” [those w/ a decent amount of $ but are not so fabulously wealthy that they can willfully ignore how much they spend])??? Genuine question, actually.

Back to the topic…

Only the chassis and suspension - the engine, hybrid system and AWD system are Mitsubishi

Mitsubishi died with the Evo

I agree they do garbage cars but they are great in many different fields. For example they have the best AC split units on the market.

got the Outlander PHEV, test drove an EV6 before and would have gotten it but the Outlander has a lot more space and features and I want to do some light off roading/ adventuring - 40 miles EV first drive. Panoramic sunroof + HUD. It’s the most sold plug-in SUV globally and has proven reliable, much better AWD system than the Prime also derived from the Lancer Evolution’s: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=RPNrlN0rv_c&t=452s&pp=2AHEA5ACAQ%3D%3D

You have to drive one to see why it’s so good, the interior blows away the Rav 4 primes and even the EV6 Wind’s I drove. It doesn’t handle as good as the EV6 but for how big it is, it can take corners surprisingly fast (coming from a Mazda 3 and a Toyota MR2 with every suspension mod, including coilovers).

I have. I think you’ve been smoking something strong.

Was it a plugin?

Yes, it was a plug in

This is where the “old people” pine for the days of the Evo 9 and 10…

What are you comparing with? I sat in my friends 4xe and I don’t think it was better quality than the Outlander PHEV, Guaranteed it’ll last way longer too, he already had to bring it in for service several times over a year he got it and ended up trading for another Jeep.
