yeah thats fine, as long as its refundable (usually is) and you have agreed upon the numbers. I would do it as sign of my good faith if they are being honest with you.

If you have a bad feeling then walk away. But stop taking their time up. Either they’ll come around or they won’t.

I have a similar situation as I live in FL and the car I want is out of state. I was provided a Buyer’s Order; however, in my opinion it is not a sufficient substitute for a Lease Agreement and leaves too many variables open for manipulation. As it stands, he says they will only provide a Buyer’s Agreement which I received and is missing a lot of information including the agreed-upon sales price, manufacturer rebate, Money Factor, and it also added $1,400 in C.O.D.

That said, what documentation should I secure in advance of flying out? Should I demand that they FEDEX or send me a DocuSign Lease Agreement before I fly out so I can ensure the terms are as agreed upon? Can I request the Lease Agreement be contingent upon final inspection and test drive?

You already have a thread open with the question and will have responses there; no need to resurrect a 5 yr old thread also.
