If you didn’t have a researched/educated discount off MSRP goal you were trying to obtain plus knowing any incentives along with base MF and calc’ing a target payment/DAS you most likely left a lot of $ on the table.
I’ll send you a photo of the contract. The way I work is I have a number in mind based on a bit of research and I push that number but let me send you the contract
I don’t know the market for this particular car but my point is you should know what numbers look like before contract time. The contract should just reflect the deal you wanted. It’s too late now but spend time on learning how to calc your own target lease payment/DAS by putting together your own spreadsheet or using a lease calc.
If 66.5 was selling price it looks like a below average to average discount for MB CPO loaner which are around 20-22% from my experience…is it CPO? If not an even worse deal.
if this is a below average deal, can you find me another one? my father in law wants the same deal i have or better, i just cant find another one at this price tbh. he is ready to sign today
Just saying the discount is ‘meh’ and worse than ‘meh’ if not a CPO unit. You need to do the work and search what MB dealers near and around you have loaners and make calculated target lease payment/DAS offers to do better.
Did you read above? I said 20-22% is the average range from when I got my wife a loaner MB…use something above that in calculating your target payment/DAS. The LH calc is a tool to use or create a spreadsheet.
ok fair. i am happy that i atleast got 19% off which is pretty damn close. I will push for 22-23% off for my father in law. +CPO is only good if u want to buy out the car. doesnt effect me
It could affect you. A lot of people find they want to get out of leases early…and could be a selling feature if any equity and you needed to sell as the CPO would transfer to a private buyer.
