DEAL CHECK/ MB E350 2026 Loaner

Ratefindr shows $2K bonus cash for my zip. If that also applied to you, then you got more like 17% off.

The broker deal is for E350 demo w/ a lower MSRP, but the total cost looks pretty similar to OP’s. Why do you assume there’s (much?) more juice to squeeze?

It looks like there’s a 40bp markup in the MF - that’s $1,100 right there. As @gohawks23 aptly pointed out, a pre-incentive discount closer to 20% should be achievable on a demo with 2.3k miles, not <17%. You’re right that the broker deal doesn’t actually end up cheaper once you factor in fees/taxes, but there’s definitely still room to squeeze here on the interest markup and pre-rebate price.

This is very helpful.

The deal that brokers are offering like above is for a 79k sticker

Demo

1k broker fee

$639 + tax

And 3k das

but I agree on the MF being 40bp higher!! That’s a great insight

How does CPO make any difference on a 24 months lease? You can’t get out of MB lease early too.

Where is that figure coming from?

This is a very highly optioned car, so I assume it’s more a demo than a base loaner that got beat up…

MF markup isn’t a big deal if there’s a compensatory discount off MSRP, and I don’t think there’s enough data for this model w/ these specific options to be able to say that 20% discount at base MF is (easily) obtainable, esp if OP might be picky about the options they wanted.

Just my 2 cents.

I stated it above…so you can’t payoff a MB lease before end of term?!

Who ever does this on a negative equity cars? This why we lease so we can turn them back. MB is not Toyota to buy out.

Dude, take the 30 secs and read what I said…and you were wrong about getting out of lease early too.

It could affect you. A lot of people find they want to get out of leases early…and could be a selling feature if any equity and you needed to sell as the CPO would transfer to a private buyer.

Dude, you can’t sell MB without buying it out first and taking a few grand hit lol

Maybe a NEW MB…but not necessarily a DEMO that has already seen a 20+% hit…I did very well on a similar situation AMG pkg GLC300 bought as a demo.

Whatever, it is a minor point. OP got just an OK deal. At least he didn’t get hosed knowing virtually nothing about the math behind leases.

I did well even on a Volvo in 2022, so? These times are gone

This was just a couple months ago. Sold it in April '26.

Fair enough, but I see it the other way - your average loaner lessee isn’t looking for a fully loaded build. That, plus the higher dealer holding cost, it should have a higher expected discount view. Had this been a base loaner then I 100% agree that 18-20% isn’t readily achievable given the higher gross margin and more urgency. Easy to get that kind of discount from a tri-state dealership? That’s a different story.

It depends on how you define “minor.” MB now charges a 4% early termination fee and that presumably applies to demo/loaners that go to contract now.

I meant it being a CPO was a minor point for his case if he just keeps the 2 years. In my case I bought it cash and wanted the additional warranty and also the ability to pass it along when reselling which turned out to be a big selling point/value retainer being that the guy who bought my car got a year plus of unlimited mileage warranty with it.

We drove it from 8/23 until 4/26 for an effective monthly of about 380 including tax.

tbh if you can find the deal I got for the same sticker I would be shocked. One thing I will mention is I called over 42 dealerships across the state of Ny and NJ. The best best deal I was quoted was $20 bucks less a month on a 78,800 sticker. I got 19% off mine your saying 20%. I really think this is not a bad start! That being said I appreciate your help, I just didn’t think what you’re saying is logical!

My deal is better than this @ctcarbuyer lol.

This is 4k down! And it’s a lower sticker

Yeah, and you had 3700 DAS.

$3500. They mistaked it and honored this photo below which was the deal sheet

number 1 and number two even if it was it’s still $300 more plus a lower sticker.

This also proves my point. If you can find a better deal I’d genuinely be curious. Just to say wow I could’ve done better. Im always looking to learn plus my father in law wants to get the same car today!
