How does this deal look? Arizona. Ford Mustang Mach-E Select RWD: $353/mo, $0 Down, $0 DAS, 36mo/10.5kmi. Anyone seeing anything better in the non-CO West? Anything I am missing here or anything to watch out for when I go into the dealer today?
What MF are they using?
Does that sales tax look high?
Dealer discount of 6044 ( 14.35 % )
Rebates 9250
I would gather the missing data points and try to run all this through the calculator.
That is what Iām paying for a 25 Premium ER AWD
It looks like ford have a $6250 red lease incentive and Iād be looking to get ~10% off MRSP from the dealer on top of this.
have you looked what the brokers on here are offering?
What is the breakdown of āAutoNation Savingsā (incentives vs. dealer discount)?
If there are $6k in incentives, for example, youāre only getting $44 off sticker.
fwiw, my gag reflex is automatically triggered when I see āAutoNation,ā so I would treat this proposal as guilty until proven innocent.
Yes, everything.
Stop what youāre doing and decide exactly what this car is worth before you re-engage.
No hate for a MME, I had one. But a Select is very barebones. You can get a better equipped EV for less. Like an Ioniq for example.
Thanks to everyone for all of the feedback so far, it has been a huge help!
I got back with the dealerās Internet Sales Manager and asked about the discounts, incentives, and the APR (Ford uses APR instead of money factor). And I also posted on the Edmunds forum and confirmed that the current Ford buy rate is 0.52% APR.
The sales manager replied that the interest rate on my first quote was at 3.1%, (oops I guess?! ;-))
But on the good side, as far as I can tell they are discounting the vehicle by $6044 dealer discount, and then stacking the $9250 Ford rebates on top of that.
And to answer @Nom_De_Plume ās question. Apparently that sales tax line is just a poorly designed form in the Autonation software. They use the same āmenuā for both sales and leases, so that is what the sales tax would be on a purchased car. And to be fair, that section is labeled āPurchase Optionā while the lower section is labeled āLease Optionā. Though the manager said it makes her job harder and she wishes they would fix the software.
Once I asked about the buy rate APR of 0.52% they updated the quote and sent me this:
| MSRP | $42,125.00 |
|---|---|
| AutoNation Savings | -$6,044.00 |
| AutoNation Price | $36,081.00 |
| Tire/Battery/MVWEA | +$11.65 |
| Registration | +$8.25 |
| Doc Fee | +$599.00 |
| Arizona VLT | +$711.91 |
| Title Fee | +$4.00 |
| Postage Fee | +$2.30 |
| Air Fee | +$1.50 |
| Rebates | $9,250.00 |
|---|---|
| Lease Term | 36 |
| Annual Mileage | 10,500 |
| Monthly Payment | $306.00 |
And I entered that data into the calculator here: Leasehackr Calculator - Hack your next lease | Leasehackr
Which output:
Pre-tax Monthly Payment: $258
Monthly Payment: $278
Due At Signing: $0
It looks like they have about $30/month added in there, so $1080 over the 36 months. That is probably pretty similar to their normal dealer adds, even though they arenāt showing them.
Any thoughts on the updated offer? I am tempted to go in to see what they say.. I know, I know⦠![]()
253 monthly with 0 das has a nice ring to it!!!
How are you getting to $253? I asked for another proposal sheet and now they are at $293, so $40/month higher than what you are suggesting. But only $15/month higher than the Leasehackr Calculator.
puts you at about 16% dealer discount and smashes any recent deal from the SIGNED section, by the way make sure you post your deal contract after you sign this weekend
Thanks again for all of your help! I signed the deal last night at $294/mo - $0DAS/Sign and Drive - for 36mo/10kmi

Signed forum post: Signed!: 2025 Ford Mach-E Select RWD - $294/mo - $0DAS - 36/10.5k
The assistance from this forum was awesome. Because of it I saved $60/mo off my initial offer, which is $2k over the entire lease. I am very happy with this deal and with the car. Hope to do it again in 3 years!
Congrats! Enjoy
