Deal Check: 2025 Porsche Taycan 4S

At this point, does is really matter? You are set on spending a small fortune on a toy. Why are you bothering with 39 months? Is there any advantage to keeping it an extra 3 months versus a 36 month lease?

Have you considered an Audi GT RS as an alternative? It would cost you much less.

A regular oil change at my dealership these days is $795. The intermediate service is about $1600. The 4 years service is $2700. I wasn’t upset when I traded in the Panamera. $350/hr labor rates will make the simplest maintenance high.

If I were looking to lease a CPO, make sure to ask which service is next and when it’s due.

That’s definitely excessive. My Porsche mechanic charges 90 and hour. It’s a Dutch shop, so yeah I probably wouldn’t go to a dealer for this service. No oil changes on the taycan.

Cheapest EQS AMG is like 800 effective. I mean it’s cheap but not tesla model 3 cheap lol

A model 3 performance is like 800+ a month with 4k+ das as well.

Damn I feel bad for you. I’m in NJ so its like 687 with 0 DAS except for tags and reg.

But most people need a car that runs - not just to impress neighbors when it’s bricked in the driveway.

What really impresses anymore tho? Here in southern OC luxury brands more common to see than anything else. I tell my wife it is the land of luxury white SUVs. Lol

I don’t park mine by the driveway. Never doing that again when it failed on me when I’m about to pick up the kid. Can’t even drive the bmw out because the eqe is blocking the driveway. Always parking it by the road now.

This conjures up images of the Audi GT RS that was parked on the street of a quiet neighborhood…

Damn, they already raised the price to $1100 a month since you posted this!

These numbers look crazy. Would a CPO Panamera work? Without running all the numbers, I have to imagine it would be a lot better value.

TBH, it’s a horrible deal especially pre-paid maintenance on an electric car. Factory maintenance requires one service every two years. I understand the love of Porsche but don’t let this dealer survive the rest of month by leasing a single car. Definitely pay a broker and you’ll save thousands on the Taycan. Long Beach (California) Porsche is advertising the '25 for $1,349 with 32k allowed for 39 months.
Given the residual, I’d happily pay 20% over residual at lease end (I know, I know…it’s a typo…or is it?)

You are comparing a base Taycan with an MSRP of $114k with $10.5k due plus TTL to a $152k MSRP with $5300 due with TTL included.

$5,300 down + $7,500 EV Rebate means the equivalent of $12,800 down. A $30k price difference over 39 months of depreciation yields a roughly $16k difference between the two but given the 7,500 miles per year, the depreciation is much lower than $16k.

Then add the $7500 onto the other lease too because it is being treated the same way by both dealers. Either way, it is a $40k difference in MSRP with different leasing programs (4S has a 2% lower residual). Comparing apples and oranges.

Lets be clear about this deal. $1348/mo and $10429 + taxes and fees puts this deal actually at about $1500/mo with $12500 due at signing.

Match the das, and its about $1700/mo

I would just lease a cpo and get it over with. There’s nothing too different with the newer Taycan, and you shouldn’t be looking at Taycan if you need the range.

When your AMG EQE gets :lemon: ‘ed, you’re going to get a CPO Taycan?
