Deal Check: 2025 Porsche Taycan 4S

Have you looked at any of the CPO Porsche leases in the marketplace? Others would know better but I think the current MY CPO are more like 24/36 month options and prior years have a 12m/15k that is attractive.

I get having Taycan money means you may not want to rent a 22 with some miles but if you just want to get it out of your system :man_shrugging:t2:

Of all the Porsches, these aren’t the keepers, these are the rented mules. You’re wise to look at total lease cost and lean against buying a new one.

Sharing the latest quote. I know, I know… incrementally better though. Valid until the end of the month. Appreciate the feedback from everyone, including the DMs. Still seriously considering the 911 and discussing with my wife.

MSRP $152,905
Sales price $140,672.60 (8% discount)

39-month lease
5,000 miles per year

Including 2y/20k miles service (whatever comes first)

$7,500 Federal rebate for EV

Monthly payment:
$2,091.18 plus tax (9.5%) = $2,289.84
with $5,501.37 driveoff (first payment, registration, acquisition fee)

Residual (57%) = $87,155.85
Money Factor = 0.00390 (buy rate)

Forgetting Porsche leases stink do the numbers all sync up in your calc or spreadsheet?

Yes, the numbers add up. Have run it through a lease calculator.

$1,095 acquisition fee

Registration is $1,293 plus $7 CA tire fee

$1,675 prepaid maintenance

5k miles? How are you supposed to enjoy the car? Try to do 10k

I don’t know why you’re just punishing yourself at this dealer for no reason. @wam22 got like 4 Taycans that are cheaper and better than this. Dude literally has a 220k MSRP Taycan Turbo S for $1800 effective for 15k miles. Just get it shipped for like 2k or so and its still cheaper than your current booty deal. Or fly to him and drive it back. And there’s no broker fee. If you want it to be even more easy, pay a local broker lol.

Leasing a performance car that you can’t drive or get a better loaner in lieu of is just the biggest blue balls ever. I wouldn’t even wish it on my worse enemy, except maybe our former saudi prince… IYKYK

NVM that you’d be wasting 9/12 of the last DMV which is going to be another $1500 per year at today’s rates. Why 39 mos?

39 months is the same residual as 36 months. Which means slightly lower monthly. But fair point and does the modest monthly savings really matter? Probably not.

Get a CPO lease for half the price. Your deal looks horrible.

Ya I don’t really get it. If you want a performance car then get a performance car, ie a 911 which will retain value 100% better and have a lower cost of ownership while being a substantially better car and experience.

If you want a go kart to take you from point a to point b then get a model 3 performance or an i4 m50. Taycan just makes no sense to me. Paying more to compromise. You’re paying more for an objectively worse car. You could buy literally any new 911 and it will hold its value substantially better than these Taycan leases above

I noticed the cost to the maintenance packages… has anyone actually done the 2 year maintenance on these bad boys? Does it really cost over 1700?

I imagine all that needs to be done is brake fluid change, inspect electric systems and brake pads, and maybe tires…

I wouldn’t even expect to do 1700 dollars in maintenance on a V6 Panamera for the first two years.

Thats why 1 year leases on these cars make more sense, higher mileage allowance and no maintenance imo

Last call for the '23 AMG EQS lol. There were 4 last night, including a new one at Walnut Creek, only 1 left at Fairfield today. Get that puppy and save your marriage for at least another 24 months

Or just get an amg eqe/s for less than the tesla model 3.
