Deal Check: 2025 BMW i5 M60

Hello, first time leasing so would appreciate a deal check and any insights. Is this a good deal, and is 10% off MSRP good for this vehicle?

Car: 2025 BMW i5 M60
Location: Northern california bay area
Lease term: 36 months / 7,500 miles
Drive off: $4,000 (first month, taxes, fees)
Monthly: $891.36 (incl tax)

MSRP: $94,125
Dealer discount: $9,413
Rebate: $9,500
MF: 0.0045
Residual: 51%, $48,003.75
Fees: $85 doc fee, $925 acquisition fee, $915 government fees

Appreciate any insight, thank you! Also, I tried to run the numbers in the calc and although close, they’re not exactly the same Leasehackr Calculator - Hack your next lease | Leasehackr

How does this compare to similar deals in marketplace? I would ask for a larger discount off the car. Aim for 13%

Most of the deals I’ve seen for November are on the e40 and x40 trims, I haven’t really seen any M60 deals in marketplace for November so it’s been harder for me to compare. For October, I remember seeing M60s in the mid $700/month range pre-tax though, although I know deals change per month.

@LAK1ngs needs to ship his NorCal I5 back up Interstate 5.

I5 via i5? Works for me!

Are you sure about that MF? That’s really high.

Sorry missed a zero in there, it’s 0.00045.

they came back with 12% off MSRP, modified to 36 months 10k miles for a payment of $780 / month + tax.

FYI, this is what he alluded to above in case you have a change of heart re e40.

Decent deal. Is it new?

Thank you! Yeah have our minds set on an M50, though now seeing all these posts wished I spent more time browsing the forum!

I would just add one note, if they have a demo unit you could probably save a nice chunk of $. If they don’t have any left, get the new one! You’re going to love it.

:+1: Thank you for all your advice! just put down a deposit for it. Didn’t see any loaners around bay area (I guess I could’ve reached out to the link above for the loaner down in socal area…)

but also, I noticed there are not that many M60s around here? I searched almost every dealer’s inventory in the bay area and 2-3 hour drive vicinity and there were maybe 7 or 8 in total only… is it cause they’re trying to get rid of the 25s before the 26s come in?

You’re very welcome. I wouldn’t rely entirely on dealer online inventories, especially for demo’s. Dealers don’t update sold car’s daily, many times the car has already been sold but the website hasn’t been updated yet. BMW is currently offering incentives that reflect the expired $7,500 EV credit, which adds great value. A $94K i5 M60 is likely well-equipped with most, if not all, available options. I just got into a i5 xdrive 40 with all options and I don’t have enough great things to say about it.

The months until 9/30/25 were the biggest EV sales bonanza in history. Lots of different makes and models of EVs had very little inventory in October.

Yeah it’s pretty well-equipped! it’s just missing the dynamic handling and exec packages (has premium instead), but otherwise has everything else.

ah, yeah. makes sense. i do feel like my timing was a little off…. e.g. should’ve bought before the expiration. it just so happened i wasn’t quite ready at the time and didn’t want to force it.
