Deal Check: 2024 TLX SH-AWD: A-Spec in Apex Pearl Blue

Best deal (Pittsburgh, PA) on the table so far:

“I will do $760/month for 39 months and 12k miles/year with $760 due at signing.”

Opinions?

Post a link to the LH calculator. What is the discount off MSRP? Are there any incentives?

You have excellent taste in cars! I love the way that TLX A-Spec looks in Apex Blue Pearl! Have you checked the marketplace here to see how it compares to what some brokers are offering? How many dealers did you shop? In order for people to check your deal, you need to give us as much information as possible. MSRP. Selling Price. Tax rate. Dealer fees. DMV fees. I see you are a super supporter, so you have already looked up the lease rates & residual values.

LH Calculator

I shopped via email to 18 dealers within a 150 mile radius of Pittsburgh. This is the lowest of all of them.

You are showing a 4.71% discount off of MSRP. @AutoCompanion has TLXs for 9% off sticker. Now some of that might get eaten up by dealer fees, a broker fee, & the fact that his dealer might be further away from you.

Before I give them a deposit I will ask for a buyer’s order detailing the complete deal. Will that help to analyze?

Your calculator doesn’t show any incentives, dealer fees, or DMV fees.

Yes, you need to see how the deal is structured to make an informed decision.

You can grab leftover Type S but 2023 of course for the same money. I like the 2024 facelift more though.

Have 2 of these in a 23. They’re the same car for a ton less.

Agreed. We just picked up a 23 TLX type S for 9% discount with performance wheel package. We purchased though so perhaps not best point of reference. Great bang for the buck. Not the most refined interior, but man does it move and handle well.

Here are the details.

You can either get more car for the same money … or you can finance the Acura if that’s the car you really want. $760x36=27k total lease cost is terrible value for a car selling for 48.

Much appreciated. I think I’ll keep looking.

$760/month is the Audi etron gt, EQS, iX territory.

You are saying that a $107,000 e-tron can be leased for $760/mo? If that is true I’m definitely doing something wrong!

Well, most of these crazy e-tron deals are low-mileage short term leases - 12/7.5k miles. If you lived in a no tax state, such as NJ (no tax on EVs) or NH, then the deals can even be better.

I would recommend checking out the Marketplace section for broker deals on the etron, EQS or IX.

I’m not really interested in the EQS but I just don’t see how I would ever get to a monthly lease payment of $760 on ANY $107,000 vehicle without putting a ton of cash in upfront, which I would never do on a lease.

Check out the Share Deals & Tips section. Audi is offering massive incentives on these on top of the $7500 EV rebate.
