It is because of the rebates/customer cash.
Based on several weeks of researching and cross shopping the Blazer EV against the Prologue, every Chevy dealer presented me with much higher payments than on a similarly equipped Touring AWD. This is primarily for two reasons. First, residual values were lower on the Chevy. Some of this is due to the fact that 2025 models are already on dealer lots. Second reason is a big one. No lease rebates for non-GM lease households and/or non-Bolt owners. GM has an aggressive lease program for bolt owners coming out of a current lease. I think it’s $4500 in rebates. That like a cash down payment. Even with GMS pricing, I was still quoted about $70 higher on an RS trim AWD with $1100 down. The Prologue is the much better deal without those loyalty incentives.
Residual Value is 77%-76% depending on RS or LT on a 24 month lease on a chevy blazer ev with super low MF. Costco $1000 rebate and Conquest 1500 rebate at the least should be applied. In our area Honda dealers are not budging on MSRP, Chevy dealers have MSRP discounts posted on their website, so could be a regional thing.
It the opposite in the Detroit market. $5-6k off MSRP then $17k off in incentives and rebates on the Prologues. Chevy has the lease/bolt loyalty rebates. For a nicely equipped LT blazer EV, MSRP was much lower than the Honda touring AWD.
Doesn’t matter if the cost of lease is lower.
I am well aware of the rebates. Bolt is important for the Equinox and not necessary for Blazer. You can get the full 5k in rebates without a bolt. I just hope you know which rebates you qualify for before dismissing that car.
Just an update on this deal, decided to check with more dealers and persistence pays off! Was able to get $317 month with zero due at signing besides first month payment and all fees and taxes included in the payment. They even offered the Elite for $379 with same deal. This is a 36/10k deal.
That’s good. Congratulations!
Which dealer did you end up going to?
McGrath Honda of St Charles IL
Please post your contract in signed, it will help others negotiate.

I have not signed the deal yet, car is in transit. I will once signed and taken possession.
I am very excited to see your post as I am also in the market for a prologue in Illinois and hoping to lock one down in the next week or so. Would love to do an elite at 379!
Yes! I went for the Elite deal at $379/month. Here’s a link to the deal:
