So I’m bummed as I was just about to pull the trigger on an Audi A6 lease when news of this Costco thing came out for the sale. My local dealer absolutely refuses to budge further on the deal unless I’m a Costco member. Ok, I’ll join, but the small print says you had to have been a member by 6/30/20. My local dealer tells me that they get 2% refunded back to them (not sure if by Costco or Audi) for these deals. He gave me two quotes. With and without Costco. The difference in price is about $3,400. I can’t find anyway to hack into this Audi deal other than join and postpone my purchase and hope the inventory and sale will both work in my favor. Open to other approaches. I can’t believe no dealer will match the deal without Costco. Thanks.
We can get there without a costco membership most dealers will not discount it past costco, or at least at mine. "Us salesman hate the costco program because we dont make ANYTHING off the car. It makes it super easy for you. We get one chance to earn your business so we give you our absolute best deal. "
Hello everyone, I am very new to this site and new to lease as well.
My friend told me to shop around the lease in holiday season just like purchasing cars.
So I will start preparing the season coming up.
My question is should I become a member of Costo?
I can find lease deals through Costco’s auto program?
Thanks.
You should ignore your friend and start reading the leasing 101 and faqs.
And yes if you might be interested in any of the brands Costco has additional discounts on, join. I would not recommend joining just to use their car buying service.
There is an entire thread of things like costco you should sign up for, depending on what you might be interested in leasing, for additional discounts.
Good luck.
