In the past we’ve hit our allotments, it was just that I didn’t appreciate how inconvenient this car would be for carting around my daughter’s stuff, so we ended up using my wife’s Jetta for non-work driving.
PenFed or USAA, and get BMWCCA now if you don’t already have it
What kind of rebates/incentives PenFed can provide?
Pro tip. Don’t pay full price for the costco membership. Twice a year they do rebates and promos for $25 membership. Next one will hit soon!!
Glad I read this, was going to sign up tonight.
I see the last time they had a BMW discount was 2018, so hopefully they’re due in 2021. And hopefully the x3 hybrid is a slow seller like the sedan hybrids seemed to be!
I leased a 330e, and am also looking for the x3 hybrid but SUV’s are the rage these days so not sure how much of the tax savings will get passed on.
Currently appears almost none! From what I saw, lease rebate only $1500 on them.
Also looking for hybrid SUV, checked X3e and the salesperson from local dealership said almost no discount while x3 gasoline can start with 3000 saving. Q5 hybrid have a tax credit but MF and RV is killing it. Also hope they become slow seller here
I am casually looking as my lease is not up. the X3 hybrid is brand new so there will be little discounts. I got my 2018 330e loaner for $1500 DAS 315/month (MSRP 49xxx), they wouldn’t do Costco citing loaner but it was decent considering I got $800 from utility rebate. Might just get another 330e since we really don’t have a need for a new SUV.
The 330e’s were a unicorn factory back in 2019… I have no expectation of matching the $75/mo effective I got on the 330e, but a 0.75-1% deal is hopefully possible!
Is that $3k trunk money from BMW or just dealer trying to make quota?
Doesn’t Costco, Truecar, USAA, etc. all get you the same “online price”. At least that was what I was told.
Costco has additional rebates on certain makes; Volvo for instance. This is separate from their ‘car buying service’ which is what you are likely referring to.
Just quote from local dealership
$500 for leases, up to $1k or more for purchases, depending on make/model. It’s basically dollars the dealer or lessor doesn’t have to come up with, so it’s free $$$. Same thing with USAA
If you get the regular membership it’s $60 or $120 for Executive-but you do get a 2% back on everything you buy on the Executive…plus if you get the CITI Costco Credit Card you get an extra 2% back or 4% on all gas purchases…pays for the whole membership at the end of the year plus some more cash back-depending how much you spend ofcourse…Also, the Executive gets more when buying a vehicle and they offer a CASH CARD ($300 for Regular but $700 for Executive)was a couple years back around October-January deals…
You’ll be surprised how much you’ll save by shopping at Costco on anything you buy at regular Grocery stores
New pricing just came out, seems like Audi is the new darling of Costco. Employee pricing on all Audi, then attack your rebates. (Not sure if that is a good deal really, I’m sure you could negotiate a better deal on your own)
Also, it does not start until July 25
Looks like the new Audi deal is 10% off across the board*… I’ve never shopped Audi, so not sure if that is good.

*Edit- on the vehicles included in the promo, not all Audi’s qualify.
10% is not terrible - I’ve been following the Q5 threads where 12% seems to be the target. Of course, that’s almost $1000 on a $50k vehicle…
If you wear eyeglasses, you will easily make back your membership cost, even if you only get a pair every few yrs.
