Created this forum for Colorado EV Hackrs to discuss different EV and PHEV deals, especially due to the huge incentives available. It can be challenging to keep track of which car manufacturers are offering special deals, so we can use this forum to share and discuss all available EVs and their deals.

I will try my best to summarize the best deals in my original post and list the specific forums, to get more details.

Colorado resident here, looking to order a 2025 BMW i4 M50, any advice on a good Colorado broker or negotiating it myself?

Colorado resident - currently in 2024 CX-90 PHEV lease ends DEC 2025 ($627/mo.) ughhhhh, thought we got a good lease deal based upon 1.19% of MSRP $52,540 with $0 down in Jan. 2024, any Broker recommendations - Looking to stay in CX-90 PHEV or CX-70 PHEV and potentially add another Lease on a smaller vehicle Mazda CX-30 depending on monthly payment

% of msrp never has and never will be an indicator of if something is a good deal or not

I don’t know about the brokers from Colorado in this platform, but surely can assist to crack a deal for you.

I cracked myself Ioniq 5 deal.

What timelines are you looking to crack the deal? As per me, best months will be Quarter end (Sept) or Year ends (dec).

Hi Irwin,

I’m a broker with Centennial Leasing in Englewood, CO. I’d be happy to assist if you’re looking to work with a local broker on your next Mazda. DM or email me at dparysz@centleasing.com

Best,
Drew

Can somebody confirm that the Colorado tax credit is classed as a Taxed Incentive in the Calculator if it is redeemed at the point of sale?

Yes, Colorado State rebate and all other manufacturers rebates are Taxed.

According to this Mazda contract, it is
8.8%?

I assume $13,856 is the rebate, and the taxes recovered on this in Point#2. I may be wrong.

You are right, I circled the wrong line.

Wow 8.8%, that’s ugly. Assuming just the 13k is taxed.

It’s varies by county in Colorado, of which Denver county is 8.81%.

Yep, more the rebates, more the taxes  for Ioniq 5, I had to pay roughly $1700 in taxes

A Ford dealer told me yesterday that their $9600 Red Carpet Lease Cash wasn’t taxable. Shall I assume he was mistaken? (I was surprised when he said it wasn’t).

Crossing my fingers for the October MF and residual numbers tomorrow - particularly for the Ariya Evolve+ or the Ioniq 5 Limited. Interested in a one-pay ideally; the Hyundai dealer already is open to that, Nissan not so much.

I’m in Colorado Springs.

I live in Kansas but Sister lives in Aurora, CO. Is there a way for me to capitalize on the CO deals? I’m looking at the Ioniq 5’s would prefer the SEL/Limited. I can do one pay or monthly.

I found a Disney that has been sitting on a lot for 200+ days, think that the dealer might be willing to make a deal? I really don’t care about the Disney stuff at all but it’s just hanging out there and was thinking the dealer might be motivated to get it gone.

Willing to Register / Insure it in CO? Put her as a cosigner

Typically if a dealer has something on their lot for 200+ days it is because of the “we know what we have” mentality and they are holding out for someone to come in and pay top dollar even if the car needs to have a birthday on their lot.

As to your other question, the incentive is open to residents of CO, if your sister is willing to be the primary on the lease and you as co-signer, and it’s registered in Colorado then that maybe could work.
