Thanks for sharing! Good to know what lease deals are currently being gotten. Congrats on your deal!
Thanks for sharing Nipa! Would you mind sharing what dealership offered this price? I’m also located in the bay area and am looking for a good deal.
We got this deal yesterday from Momentum Chevrolet located at San Jose area. We went through Ramon who is an internet salesperson there, hope this helps.
How much of the $6400 is GM supplier discount (thus not replicable to others)? I thought GM supplier discount is just invoice pricing + $200, maybe I misunderstood it? It is actually a rebate?
Hey guys,
I got an updated offer for a 2017 Volt lease. These were the general terms discussed:
12k miles
36 months
$2000 down
$241 monthly including tax, title, and fees
None of the other details have been discussed so far, I’m going to try to get those as well.
Does this look like it could end up being a decent deal? What should I be looking out for once I get the details? Thanks in advance.
Update - they sent me a summary of the terms, not the detailed ones. Should I get the detailed offer before going in? Does this look right?

Sorry, I don’t understand.
I think Masterblaster is saying you go for less than what they offer and I’d add yes ask for detailed breakdown of what is the discount and what are the incentives and rebates. Seems to be too convenient for the dealer to lump them all together (not that I have not done a deal like that in the past) but the more you know the better informed consumer you are, right.
Don’t go in until they spill the beans, that all.
What kind of a deal @chevysalesgirl was able to get you for the Volt?
Also do you have someone with the same address as yours leasing right now? It possible to use that person’s lease as a competitive or loyalty, but not guaranteed though.
Gotcha, that makes sense now. Yes I’m planning on going for less, and yes I’m going to ask for a detailed breakdown. Chevysalesgirl didn’t have any deals she could get me unfortunately. And no, neither my wife nor I currently lease. We do own another Chevrolet though, and I’ve seen that used as incentive before. Thanks for your reply - fingers crossed I get the deal I’m looking for either tomorrow or Saturday!
