Chevy Volt 2017 LT Lease

If you are in SoCal and in the Market for Lease on a Volt or other GM Product call Randy at 949 457 2081
I can show you how to really get all the money!

I just leased a 2017 Volt with leather seats from MK Smith Chevrolet in Chino, CA on Feb 6, 2017 for $279 tax and license included 36 months 15k/miles zero down zero drive off. Just sent my paper work for the $1500 state tax rebate.

Hi Juvan, Can you share the details? MSRP, Selling Price, incentives, residual, money factor, etc? I’m interested in a similar vehicle.

MSRP was approx $35,500
Purchase price $25,435
All incentives and non cash credits $8,139.43 and ā€œamount to paid in cashā€ (which i didn’t pay) $1,047.10
Residual $17,047
MF is fixed from GM which i believe was .000062 (unsure of the number of leading zeros)

These figures are from the Lease Agreement except the MF. Let me know if you have anymore questions. I’m not very knowledgeable with leases. I just wanted to make sure there was no out of pocket cost or me and my lease pmts were a certain amount.

Just to add regarding my purchase. I was texting the sales rep if he could beat a previous quote I received for a BASE model, which he did. When I arrived at the dealership, he showed me the vehicle and said this is what i would be getting (which had leather seats and a heated steering wheel) at the same agreed price. Much to my surprise.

I text and emailed approx 8-10 dealerships. MK Smith and Puente Hills gave me the same quote. I only chose MK Smith because he was the first to beat the best quote I had and their proximity to me. I’m glad I did because I don’t think Puente Hills would’ve surprised me with the upgraded options.

So it’s double whammy Michael, not only residual is less on Premiere it also has a little less of incentives too. I suspect they should have a little more padding in the msrp for heavier discount on that model.
Can you please clarify, so if I am lucky to get the $1000 Private Offer that would not be combined with $500 loyalty/lease conquest, essentially a $500 if use either of those, right? But it is stackable with Farm Bureau or Costco?
Thanks,

AFAIK

Yes - premier is rough to get a good deal
Private Offer - doesn’t currently exist, but correct it would only be $500 more
Costco - doesn’t currently exist
Farm Bureau - yes, it stacks with everything.

Hi,
I am looking to lease a Chevrolet Volt 2017 in Washington. Below are the 2 worksheets that the dealer shared for LT, and Premier for 36months / 10000 miles. Can you tell me if this is a good quote, and how much will the total cost to lease for 36 months?

Is there much wiggle room? What are the things I can negotiate on?

Thanks much.

This is the quote for Premier

Hello,
The discount is nice 4500$ but I’m not sure why the rebate is so low. I’m getting 7360$ on the GM rebates and incentives in LA.
It essentially came out to 255$ a month with 0 down but the discount on the car was only 3900$.
That’s a lot of money to be putting down for a volt in my opinion.

Not to be harsh, but even a 2nd grader can calculate the total cost of the lease. It’s very basic math.

In regards to the offers you have, they are terrible compared to what dealers in CA are offering. There’s another Volt thread with specific numbers. Check with @Anthony_Lopez to see if he can broker a deal for you in WA.

Thanks, I will check.

I do not have a problem with the math, but I do not know which of the numbers to consider in the total cost, as I have not leased before. After reading up on the web, I am a little confused whether I should consider the customer cash reduction into the total cost or not. As per the dealer - no, but as per the web - yes.

As per my calculation, LT will cost ~$9700 for 36 month, but I am not sure.

Total cost of the lease would be drive-off + monthly payments + disposition fee. 1st month and MSDs are included in the drive-off. If you have MSDs, subtract that out from the total cost as it is refunded to you at lease end.

The numbers I’ve calculated are:
LT - $9764.20
Premier - $15026.80

Count anything and everything that comes out of your pocket.

E.g.
24 month lease = Total due at signing (incl first month) + (23 * monthly payments)
36 month lease = Total due at signing (incl first month) + (35 * monthly payments)

Can i get dealer info for volt? Thanks

Looking for a Volt Lease near $300 per month $0 down… is that possible in Florida? I see all the great deals in California… which I could get one there and ship here lol

Hey guys,

I’m looking to lease a 2017 Chevy Volt in SoCal. I’ve been asking around at a few dealerships, and this is the best quote I’ve gotten so far:

MSRP: $34,465
Discount savings: -$4,369
Selling Price: $30,095
Accessories: $299
Document Prep Fee: $80
License / Title: $325
Tire/Battery/VTR Fee: $8.75
Acquisition Fee: $595
Tax on Collected Items: $553.49
Total Cap: $31,956

Down/Cash Cap Reduction -$1741
Rebate savings -$5400
Net Cap $24814

Monthly payment including tax: $258
Total due on delivery including first payment: $2000

Money Factor: 0.00069
Miles: 12,000
Residual: 50% = $17,232

I’m honestly not that impressed with this deal, as I’ve seen them for significantly lower around the forums. Anyone recently get a lower lease agreement in So Cal, and if so do you care to share any references? Thank you.

Yeah, the Volt incentives aren’t great right now, They have put all of the incentives over on the Bolt for now. You can actually lease a Bolt for ~$240/month with nothing out of pocket. With $2000 down your Bolt lease payment is ~$181.

Do you have a competitive (non GM) lease or a Chevrolet lease ?

Check out Tricia’s list of rock-bottom lease payments towards the bottom of this thread linked below. (Tricia posts as ChevySalesGirl on this forum and is some sort of Internet sales superstar at Buena Park Chevrolet).

https://forum.leasehackr.com/t/chevrolet-bonus-tag-leases/11739/1552

We got this deal today in NorCal bay area.

MSRP $34095
Sales price: $29211.80
Rebate: $6400 (includes GM Supplier discount, excluding CA rebate and PG&E rebate)
Residual: 51%
MF: .0006917

10K miles/year
Zero drive-off
Monthly payment: $248 after tax (total < $8700)
Disposition fee: $350

We were also offered another option of $8500 for one-pay lease, but chose $248*35 option (which added ~$200).

Hope that helps.

Ah, that explains some of it. Interesting that the Bolt can be had for that cheap! I was leaning more toward the Volt because I spend a lot of time commuting and have read poor reviews of the seats in the Bolt.

I’m not currently leasing, so I don’t have that to use for my advantage. Thank you for posting the link, I actually sent Tricia an email and am hoping to get some assistance from her.
