The dealer can’t do anything about the pedestrian noise. You could maybe reduce the external volume by finding the external speaker and taping some foam over it.
I don’t know about you but my Blazer EV AWD LT came with Bridgestone Alenza All Seasons that are not Three Peak Snow rated.
Did you turn off the engine noise in the settings? You have to do that otherwise it is too loud.
The infotainment system on Blazer is amazing. I am not sure what you are talking about. Google maps work perfectly and you can download most Apps you want. It’s an android system so it works flawlessly for me and is very responsive and bug free.
I have had it in other cars before, it is very convenient. I believe my 4xe had it there too behind the steering wheel.
I don’t think all your complaints are actually valid. Sounds more like a driver issue to me. skill issue
I hope you are not comparing it to a 911. How about compare it to a 4runner or something similar and see where it lacks.
Agree if you put the Chevy Blazer EV in the $55k category then it does not live up to its competitors. But for a cheap lease i would compare it to nissan ariya or nissan rouge honda crv etc
For pedestrian noise maybe try to find the fuse that its on and remove it and hope it doesnt mess anything else up
Can we use the same EV conquest car on multiple GM leases?
yes you can !
Thanks.
Another question. If we used the supplier discount, do we have to keep the Blazer for at least 6 months or can we transfer it before that time? I read on the supplier discount website that the owner needs to keep the car for 6 months at least.
Is the $1,500 Conquest still going for this month? Rate Findr doesn’t seem to show that.
I believe this is only on a Purchase as this is directly from Chevrolet website.
“Must be a current owner or lessee of a 2009 or newer non-GM vehicle. Some customers may not qualify. Not available with some other offers. Take new retail delivery by 10/31/24.”
But in the Lease offer it only states “For Current Lessees of a 2019 model year or newer GM or Non-GM passenger car or truck at least 30 days prior to the lease of a new GM vehicle through GM Financial”
I think this might have been added for October late
but why the ratefinder doesn’t have it in either the Lease or Purchase I am not sure. My experience is sometimes Ratefinder has a bug or 2
All you can do is ask the Finance guy at Chevy and hope they give you the right answer
All you can do is ask the Finance guy at Chevy and hope they give you the right answer
And hope the guys actually know their stuff… But yeah realistically that’s the only way to get it done
I must be missing something.
Scenario:
-
Land at your home airport after being en route for 18 hours, and haven’t seen your home in ~3 weeks;
-
Note how miserably cold it feels outside, and how exhausted you are;
-
Take the shuttle to your car at long-term parking, when the rear hatch opens automatically due to the proximity of the key, toss in your luggage and backpack (car key is in the front pocket of the backpack);
-
Close the hatch;
-
Realize that all four doors and the hatch are now locked, and your keys are in the backback;
-
Panic, then resign yourself to taking the shuttle back to the terminal, and taking an Uber home for the spare key;
-
Realize that you can unlock the car with the mobile app on your phone, so you do, and then drive home;
-
Forget about it all, and crash for 12 hours;
-
Wake up and wonder what would have happened if the phone was also in the backpack… not only could the car not be unlocked, but you also couldn’t get an Uber;
-
Search fruitlessly for a vehicle setting that would mitigate the risk of this happening.
Is the Blazer really not smart enough to realize this? In my 2010 Mazda3, first car I had with keyless push-to-start, the first time I did this it chortled and let me open the hatch back up, wouldn’t lock with the keys inside.
Every car I’ve had since with keyless won’t let me lock a set of keys in the car. This is a good thing to test with any new car in your driveway.
Apparently not.
This vehicle (at least ours) will lock the hatch when you close it, even if all four side doors are locked and the key is inside the vehicle (in the rear cargo area).
Makes no sense.
I tried mine and sure enough, same thing. I figured that the push button proximity unlock would work with the key inside but no dice. I actually tried unlocking the liftgate from the phone, app confirmed the action but nothing happened. I just opened it with my spare key.
Stunning lack of design logic here!
Can someone tell which cars qualify for Conquest for Chevy Blazer EV lease? On their website I see 2011 or newer non-GM vehicle. Is this correct? I have a 2017 Volvo XC90 and one of the brokers here is telling me that it is not eligible for Conquest rebate.
Some dealer web sites have detailed incentive descriptions, as one potential reference point.
This one mentions Conquest, and a long list of eligible vehicles.
If there is another leased car in the household you can use that…
