No, it needs to be a smart wifi enabled one in order to be able to report to PSEG EV charging usage. I believe only JuiceBox and ChargePoint are approved at this point.
I guess I’ll pay an electrician to validate my current install in order to get the reduced rate although on the 4xe it’s likely only $30-$50 in savings per year.
I just need someone to find me an unclaimed 2023 ID4 AWD in the next couple month to fully take advantage of the electrical discount😬

Personally, for me, we need to upgrade our breaker box to fit the extra circuit so PSEG will cover all of that.
You can always switch to RLM time-of-use billing if you want cheap charging and don’t have a compatible charger.
It works particularly well if you have solar but it doesn’t cover all of your usage - my solar array only covers about 75% of my annual consumption but with RLM the only electricity that I buy is off-peak which is ~$0.07/kWh rather than $0.18/kWh…
Costco is again offering the Enel X Juicebox 40 Plug-In for $499 and is eligible for the $250 Charge Up NJ EV Charger rebate + the PSE&G EV charger program.
Was $449 and today shows $599 for me.
Also FYI its 20ft cable not 25ft like everywhere else.
Submitted my charger rebate application Friday night, checked the portal and showed approved today! Can’t wait to install it, reimbursed by PSE&G, and charge at 40amps!
Regarding the NJ EV Rebate. Does the rebate require you to own the car for a certain ammount of time? I ask because I only see that it requires the owner to live in NJ for 2 years after utilizing the rebate. If I want to sell my EV after a year, is that a problem?

This requirement does not apply to customers with permanent residency in another state who qualified for the incentive because they were active duty military members stationed in New Jersey at the time they ordered, purchased, or leased their vehicle.
Retain ownership, or an active lease agreement, and registration of the vehicle with the New Jersey Motor Vehicle Commission for a minimum of 36 consecutive months immediately after the vehicle purchase or lease date. Customers who lease their vehicle must ensure that their original lease agreement explicitly lists a term of 36 months or longer.

So my new Bolt has GM offering to do a 240v line install without any upfront costs to me (up to $1000 labor and $500 parts). Does this mean I can contact JCP&L and THEN get the off peak discount rate? I have the Chevy dual level charger but it’s not a wifi connected unit so how would JCP&L know if i’m charging my car or doing a marathon of drying my laundry all night? 
You would likely have to get the Wi-Fi connected charger. At least that’s what PSEG does.

Chevy covers install of NEMA 14-50 outlet so go out and buy yourself Enel X juicebox plug in version (not hardwired) 32 or 40 amp is up to you.
IIRC Chevy covers 40amp breaker install but im sure you can talk to installer and get him to put in 50amp if your panel allows.

Apply with JCP&L and allow for them to track your charger usage, then just wait patiently for that .02c credit.

I just received the $250 charger rebate in the mail after it was approved on 10/5.
Note it comes from “The Center for Sustainable Energy” in San Diego. I thought it was junk mail at first.
Mine was approved 10/22 so I guess I will be waiting for a few more weeks 
Still better than the Phase 1 & 2 of EV rebate where they waited MONTHS for a check much bigger.
Update: The $250 check came today!, I guess they do them in waves.
