Cars that you had…..that you wish you never got rid of

Oh man I know how that feels :pensive:

Here’s another car I wish I still had…

‘74 Grey Market BMW 2002 Turbo…

It was such a cool little car…

I used to trailer it to BMW car shows…

I was the second owner… It only had approximately 500 miles on it when I purchased it…

I purchased it on a bill of sale (no title) because it was a grey market vehicle…

It took years for me to get it properly registered in the United States…

Sold it to a BMW collector in the UK…

It’s now worth a heck of a lot more than I sold it for…

Car I miss that I sold was Mitsu EVO 8. Loved it as a dd, but ended up with a company car, and it was either it or my E30 M3. Sadly, now contemplating selling my E30 as it just sits the majority of the time.

pics of that m3

M4 Heritage, apparently they’re worth mid 70s to low hundreds now…

I sold mine for mid 70s in July.

I too regret selling some red cars (all with real manual transmissions):

1988 Toyota Celica Turbo All Trac
1988 BMW M3
1995 BMW M3
2002 BMW M3
2003 BMW 330i zhp (performance package)
2011 BMW M3 sedan

Actually regret selling my 2016 BMW X5 40i hybrid. It was a really good vehicle and it would be nice to have it again. The 45e has become a bit too large.

One of my first cars was a used burnt orange 1971 MGB GT…

I’m 6’1”… so it was a very tight fit…

Fit and finish was dismal… very typical of British vehicles at the time… and it had Lucas electrical components… :flushed:

But it was a fun little rattle trap to drive!
